The world has lost someone truly unique who made you vibrate like no one else. Spanish pride is going to rest. The work has already been exhibited, donated and completed with máximum honors. And above all with respect and humility. Back home Rafa. Congrats. Spain proud 🇪🇦
Agreed! The small thing which is the “icing on the cake”, for me, is the lineswoman’s quick conformation of Nadal’s amazing final shot 🥳🥳🥳 (let’s be honest we all thought “was that in” and she just erased the doubt...)
The reason he extended his hand is to say sorry because some of these winners were actually lucky (not intended) shots. Obviously he intended to return the ball and he made an incredible run to reach it, but in some cases it was a winner by luck (he didn't have a control on the quality of the return).
Thank you very much for this perfect compilation. No narration or added music. No ego intro and no in-video advertisement. Very good editing. Not too much, not too little. Thousands of youtubers should learn from you. My respect.
Yes, I will miss him so much. I've followed his career for 19 years. I'm happy that he will spend his retirement with his son, wife, family & friends. We will just have to watch videos of him.
@naeemulhassan3664 You wouldn't either if you had a hampered hip, worn torn knees, a practically dead foot and the small guys today hit bigger than the biggest hitters back then

not only is Nadal impossible as a retriever, but his coach obviously taught him " it is not enuf to hit it back, you must also hit a winner. why waste all that effort ?" that is a great change in mentality. Federer had that too. in my era it was just the idea of a " save " and than the hope the other would miss-hit, choke or not hit a good enuf shot you could still get to it.
C'est sûr sue Rafa ne porte que de bonnes chaussures ! De la tige à la semelle ! Que nous recommande-t-il pour nos propres combats, vitaux ? Je lui ferais confiance à ce sujet, comme à bien d'autres. El Toro.
when Rafael went pro at 18 or so he was beating Federer almost right away. at that point Federer was absolutely like young Mike Tyson. players were afraid to play him. no one on the tour expected to beat Federer except by an exceptional moment. they hoped to finish the match with the least humiliation. ... a fact. so, how-the-heck did Nadal beat Federer? it was his retrieving. Federer would hit a forehand before and .... it was gone - end of point. all of a sudden some of those were coming back and Federer was literally psychologically upset. Nadal maintained a psychological advantage over Federer for perhaps 8 years.
Watching this guy’s career was a treat. There won’t be another player as exciting to watch for a long, long time
If ever
You said it best.
We will never see the genius that is Rafa NADAL again…Mad Respect♥️🇨🇦
I’ve watched Rafa since he first came onto the professional circuit all those years ago, and I think he’s one of the greatest wonders of the world.

Simply the BEST!
God damn look at him go. You literally wouldnt believe it if there wasnt so much film.
It's his speed, precision and never give up attitude that makes him so exciting to watch.
I’ve seen that shot at 5:40 a million times and I STILL don’t understand how it was possible! 😳🤩💪🏽🔥❤️🔥🎾🇪🇸🐐
The pirate Nadal is hard to drown
It supposed to be impossible.
That wrist and hand movement is amazing😮

Rafa Nadal - Legend 👋👋👋
Thank you for sharing this video of the greatest sportsman of all times! This will be tennis history for decades!
Simply breathtaking 👍
Love how he extends his hand sometimes after returning an impossible shot and winning the point like « excuse-me, that must be tough for you »

That's easy for you to say.
Gonna miss this guy!
Rafa was something else, for sure. No wonder Andrey Rublev said he's the greatest athlete ever!
All of this accomplished with two bad feet and two bad knees - imagine what it would be like if he had good ones
Siempre serás uno de los grandes
nadal had infinite stamina in that first point like how does someone not get tired after that? he didn't even celebrate either
drugs
Now he cant even play on clay either

Las piernas y la cabeza de Nadal son irrepetibles... qué brutalidad!
And he could run. Those 360turnswere unbelievable. Not even Usain Bolt could do those. 😂😂😂

Almost all the points he had to apologise to his opponents 😅

Q casi todos los puntos él tuvo que pedir disculpas a sus oponentes.

All the players who did a winning point against Nadal are monsters

Huge fan of Federer.Respect to all the three .They are unique in their own ways.Making us excited.
The Monfils and Rafa was most difficult I believe. Great shot from both. Only great ones can return those.
I think young Nadal could hunt the roadrunner! 😂
El rey de la tierra.

Insolent Nadal refuses to lose unwinnable points.
In fact he won all those points shown in the video, and 22 grand slams, too.

that is the reason Nadal had many injured
22 impossible sprints and part of the reason he can barely finish a match today without injuring himself
