Luna's Lunch Menu - How To Make Chrissy's Homemade Fish Sticks!

- My kids' food journey has had a lot of ups and downs. It's totally normal (they say) for your babies to get picky in the early days. Miles, my little food critic, is highly opinionated when it comes to eating, but we do the best we can! My "hack" for getting Luna to eat a well-rounded meal was to make a lunch menu she could choose from. We named it "Cafe 'Street Where We Live'" (sorry, I love you, I'm not sharing our address, lol). It's filled with her favorites, including fish sticks! I make them homemade, but frozen works, too! Toons and Miles looooove this recipe, and it's nostalgic for me. They’re so golden and crunchy that you’d think they were fried, but GUESS AGAIN--just a little panko breadcrumbs baked at a high temp. This is NOT ridiculous! This is actually a fantastic idea. You should insert the recipe for each item then distribute it. You would be surprised how many parents don’t have a clue wrt providing healthy meals for their kids!

This is such a a good idea. I have 2 years old she is not picky yet but she loves playing kitchen and I’m sure she would love to have menu with her own food.
This is a fantastic idea! And people complaining about real $ being laminated is hilarious 😆 They are $1 bills 🙄 Not only does this teach a child how count real money, but also to purchase items with money! It’s not like they’re laminating $100 dollar bills! This is a brilliant solution to a common problem parents have with their little ones!
Honestly, it's not that crazy 🤷♀️ I feel like all parents, no matter who you are just want happy kids and know when to choose the battles to fight.
Also teaching about money is awesome too. You and John are great parents I'm so glad God blessed you with your little angels. They could not have better parents. <3
Amazing parenting skills!! Giving her the freedom/option to pick what she wants/like to eat, making it fun & providing nourishment at the same time AND teaching her finance at such a young age which I'm sure she'll appreciate when she's older!! 😭👍 All the amazing life skills in one shot!

I love the menu idea! The laminated money is so cute. I don’t have kids, but I’m going to substitute with gluten free flour and make this for MY lunch🙂
I have always loved Chrissy! There’s just something about her personality, she’s so humble but so innocent and absolutely lovable! Seeing her as a mother, it stepped up the cuteness game because she’s so involved in trying to make her children happy through simplicity. This is totally not ridiculous, i dont have kids but i feel like the pictures of the food make it so much more appealing for Luna because she can see what she’s getting and develops a sense of what she does/doesn’t like, and also understands that there’s a cost to it (not fully but she knows she’s giving up something she has to get what she wants) and its also a super clever way to teach them the value of things. Such a fun and creative idea!
