Holocaust Memorial Day: 80 years since Auschwitz death camp liberation

  • It's been a moving and emotional day in Poland, where Holocaust survivors and world leaders gathered at Auschwitz to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi death camp.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News...)
    Survivors warned of the dangers of rising antisemitism, as they spoke of the horrors they endured and remembered the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust.
    Around one million of them at Auschwitz alone.

    I think it's twisted irony that this commemoration is happening in the same week an Israeli minister called for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and was supported by the US President. The world has gone mad! 😱😱

    • @legalmonkey
      @legalmonkey 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Lies. No-one is calling for ethnic cleansing. Nor is there any ethnic cleansing. It's a war prosecuted in line with the rules of war against a fascist regime which actively targets Israeli civilians.
      Stop your antisemitism. People like to throw the Holocaust back in the face of the Jews,.

      This meant that the total world population of Jewish people was cut in HALF.
      You are right that, whilst on a smaller level, Black people, gay people, disabled people and Roma gypsies were murdered too. (And others!).
