I really enjoy your recap and comments in general about life. You are VERY funny. I also get a heckuva lot of pleasure hearing how you say the word 'tour' because I have never heard that pronunciation. It's freaking charming. As is your personality. Subscribed!
I'm loving your Irish tour. So much of interest. I am not at all confident about knitting in public places and agree it would be very cool to be among people that are! The crunchy bits on your ice cream dessert are honeycomb (also known as cinder toffee, hokey pokey or yellowman)
That sheep notion pouch is adorable! I hope Anna accompanies you on the next knitting tour 😊 I am living vicariously through you and all the gorgeous yarn you bought (that Fossil looks lovely)! One day I'd love to do a yarn/knitting tour, you really make them sound fabulous. (P.S. I like how your dog is hanging out with you.)
I’m glad you are enjoying the recap! I’m absolutely thrilled to say that, yes, Anna is joining me on the next one! I am so excited to share it with her. I think it’s going to be really special!
❤ My bucket list trip for sure. I agree. Old objects have lived a life longer than me and have a very storied past. Since I was a child, I have loved giving names and life to inanimate objects. Great Ireland trip recap videos. Thank you for sharing your trip and your treasures. All the best, Joyce
Honestly, after watching Leslie's 1h and a half long Ireland tour recap and your part 1 recap, I did also watch this whole part two this morning while cleaning and tidying and I will happily watch the third one as well😅😅 I don't know what it is but I think I could stay here listening to you talking about anything and being perfectly content😂 you're such a good storyteller!!
I loved when you talked about the Tunisian crochet workshop/trunkshow and how you want to do it but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I totally get that because that is how I am with knitting. I want to do it, I know I can because I have done it a few times but every time I get scared again and second guess myself. Now having watched the recap from your recent Shetland tour and now watching the Ireland tour (I did my PhD in Belfast), I so want to go on one of these tours with your group.
Ah so we have shared PhD trauma. Although doing the PhD in Belfast sounds a lot more fun! You'll start knitting when you're ready! And if that day never comes that's okay too!
I loved this! Such gorgeous scenery. I would have loved walking through that old house too. I love looking at old things. Thanks so much for sharing your trip!
Superb podcast Rachel. I'm playing catch up with all your videos. They (well, you) are so entertaining. I see your going to the Hebrides next year. Oh how I wish I could be there. I haven't been to that area of Scotland. And you're going in my birthday month too!! I haven't been to Ireland either for that matter. I'll be in touch soon Rachel. I think I'll be posting your headband on Friday (plus a couple of little surprises. Everyone needs a surprise now and then! But I'll go for now and be in touch really soon.
Thank you so much! How fun that you're playing catch up. Hope you find a few gems along the way. I'm so excited to receive your package! Thank you again
Last summer was so dry in BR that the trees were falling down so the reason we got what looked like a proper fall was because the poor trees were so stressed from heatstroke. I don't know about you guys but I live in the Goodwood area and the trees are old so we were having to water the trees, which was unheard of in C's lifetime (he is from BR) and something I have never seen in mine since I am from the UK lol. It's hot this year but thank goodness not so dry.
I feel the same about taking my knitting to a restaurant. I don't do it as I always think it will be frowned upon. I am in south Alabama and if I seen someone knitting I would run to the car and get mine, look them in the eye and give them the "nod" holding my needles up in the air.
Rachel, I just stumbled onto your channel and I love it! Will you be organizing more knitting tours in the future? If so, how can one find out about it?
So glad you found me! I am days away from letting my email list sign up for a 2025 Scotland tour. Here’s the link to get on the email list: forms.gle/3wM8WC9HGo44HJwh8

You are a treasure! Keep being your authentic self😊
Thank you so much! You can count on it
How did I miss this? So fun to watch. Yes, and now dreaming of joining you on a tour!
I would love that! One day :)
You are a delight. I enjoy listening to your stories of travel. I'm sitting and knitting and enjoying your tales. You are hilarious.
Oh thank you! So glad you’re enjoying them 💜

Ha! I asked my husband how he says it and yep… I do say it differently. We had a nice giggle over this on our car ride today. Thank you for watching!

TOM!! 😍 And I felt the same way when we'd take over the lobbies or a room in the hotels to knit. It was honestly my favorite parts of our trip ❤
Same!!
Your podcasts are so enjoying. I love them and you always make me laugh….thank you, I needed that today! ❤🥰
So glad you enjoyed!

That is the highest praise I've ever received! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the recaps!

It was a delicious beverage 🤣🍸🍹
So good! Lol!

Ah, that explains it! Hi, neighbor!

Absolutely! That is the only correct response!

My anxiety is being triggered remembering the Jameson > HHF journey 😅😅😅😅
it was so intense LOL
Love your recap of the trip. Do you plan on doing it again? I would like to know how to sign up.
We are in talks for the next one! I will announce on my Instagram when it is all set! ❤️
❤❤❤❤
Love your channel SUSCRIBED 🎉.
QUESTION: PATTERN for your lovely purple sweater, please. What yarn did you use.
Thanks for being here! Can you point out when I’m wearing it? I couldn’t find me wearing a purple sweater in this video.
