Want to join me on a knitting tour like this? Sign ups are open for my next knitting tour! We are going to the Scottish Highlands in May of 2025! I’d love to have you join us :) trips.myelitetrip.com/trip/6yw9rqrrduwsqz2armn59qqgveg6gjq
I'm enjoying watching you fill in the activities of your trip between Insta posts & sharing your "haul" (treasures) as the trip progressed - We can appreciate each one! I also really like special (to me) pottery/ceramic pieces!
I am so excited. I just booked an Irish knitting trip to Dublin and the Aran Islands for next June, through Indie Untangled. I am taking copious notes on your experiences! :)
This is making me regret not getting Cushendale buttons...guess it's time to plan the next trip back to Ireland 😂🤩 I love that you're putting these clips together and explaining the tour. I have a feeling it's something I'll visit often ❤
I would LOVE to go on one of your tours! Will you mention the upcoming trips in future episodes? Also, I wondered if there were non knitters like husbands on the trip. My husband would be willing to tag along, but would skip the workshops. Love this podcast!
Yes, non-knitters are absolutely welcome! My husband joined on the 2023 tour, and he wasn't the only husband/non-knitter who joined! We are happy to have them. You may have seen my reply to a different comment, but putting here also: I am opening signups for a May 2025 Scottish Highlands Tour to my email list tomorrow morning! Make sure you're signed up if not already! forms.gle/qKXf4Pjd3C9ocL6o6
Also, agreed the Lyrath is beautiful. On your next trip you could visit Kilkenny castle and grounds, they are right in the centre of the town and near the Lyrath
Wow, great trip so far…..❤I love that you and your sister are going to make matching lambs!! I have a solution to your stitch markers dilemma!! Give/keep half of each design/set of colors!! I did this with a friend so we each got two different designs and colors!!
The tour looks amazing! And i dont even know how to knit!😂 would it good for me? I lobe fabric and im learning to mend and embroider, but thats pretty much it! I know you are showing the highlights, but how much time do you actually spend knitting?
We were knitting pretty much constantly, but that was just many people’s preference. You wouldn’t have to knit outside the workshops if you didn’t want to! You could also opt to go as a non-knitter, which doesn’t include the workshops at all.

Thank you for the vlog. It would be wonderful to do a knitting tour, eat, knit, buy wool stuff, sightseeing.
Yes, it is wonderful! Would love to have you join me on future trips!
@@rachelisknittingI signed up for your newsletter. Planning for 2025.

Well done! It was nice for me to learn details that I missed on the tour because the entire tour was so incredible. Thanks yet again, Rachel!

I needed something cozy to watch after a hard day and I was so happy to get into TH-cam and see an Ireland video!!

I love your jumper in this video. Gorgeous! What's the pattern? (I can't see a effendi reference to it in the notes. Apols if I've missed it!) 😊
The tour sounds and looks absolutely lush!!! I love Ireland. One of these days I'll try to join one of your tours.
Would love to have you on a future tour! The sweater I'm wearing in this is the Throwover by Andrea Mowry
❤❤❤
Hey, great video. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. Aisling (Ash-ling) is the name of the girl who works with Lisa in TIK ❤
Thank you so much for answering my question! Aisling was wonderful!
