    I now want to see a 12 atheist game with four evil teams told if they make it to the end undiscovered they win.

      So...Lunatics? You can't hand out red tokens in an Atheist game. It's required in the setup.

    • @kyleb8117
      @kyleb8117 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You could do 6 "Legion", 3 "Riot", 2 different demons told that other Lunatics are their Minions (maybe throw in a fake Magician to encourage them to not talk), and an Atheist. Might be interesting.

      @@kyleb8117 in some atheist games, the storyteller decides to give the atheist an alternate win condition. patters has previously done this by waking up the atheist and another good player (the mayor by randomness) and told them both who the lunatic was and that if they could successfully string the lunatic along and get to final three with those three alive they would win. I think what Minion5051 is suggesting is essentially a version of this but duplicated 4 times to make 4 evil teams. I'm not sure it would work though because as soon as anyone dies at least one of the atheists' alternate win condition goes out the window and they would immediately out as the atheist to kill the st.
      it's also possible they're refering to other ways of doing this like what you suggested or potentially lying to a lunatic about a marionette but I figured I'd give my interpretation.

      @@moth.03 I guess it could work. I'm not sure how interesting it'd be for them. They immediately know it's an Atheist game and if they see another group of people doing exactly what they are, maybe they just go for the Atheist win instead? If literally everyone is trying to convince everyone else that it's not Atheist when they all know it is, I don't think it's going to be very interesting. If literally everyone's trying to go undetected, then they just will and it'll be a boring game.
      If they legitimately think they're evil and are told they get a bonus win if they convince good to lose by believing it's an Atheist game, it makes for a much more authentic experience. (Obviously, you don't want everyone to be evil in that case...so there's actually good players to "con".) The problem is there's no way to convince someone they're a Minion with a Demon in an Atheist game. (Unless you make up a homebrew character.)

      @@kyleb8117 I agree that it probably wouldn't work/be fun as I've described. like I said, if anyone at any point dies, you're likely to get an atheist to out which immediately tells everyone else they've been conned by the st. and like you said, although it wouldn't be literally everyone who knows it's an atheist game, it would be 9/12 players which seems way too high. I've seen loads of people trying to come up ways to have multiple "evil" teams in an atheist game (though usually only 2 not 4) so I figured I'd try to explain what I think the original commenter was suggesting (I could be wrong). my personal ideas for creating two evil teams would involve utilising a mix of magician, poppygrower and marionette (on the script but not in play, naturally) but I've never attempted it so I have no idea if it would work. I like your idea of legion lunatics though

    I don't understand why did the final day end and not go into night? The Heretic was outed and killed, but the demon and a good player were still alive. The demon could have been given the option and most likely killed themselves, leaving only good alive to win for evil.

      The core rules state: If the demon is left alive with only up to one other player left alive; evil wins.
      Of course, heretic flips that.
