    I’m confused though because the defender would get called for 3 seconds if she stays in the 8 right?

      Good question! You probably found this out by now, but if you're marked up (within a sitck length away), a defender can stay in the 8.

      @@dyanashtevens In the video, while the player with the ball is behing the goal, they are clearly not within a stick length of each other. I have the same question and will now go seek an answer elsewhere.
