If you like El Tesoro and Tequila Ocho made by Carlos Camarena, then you’ll definitely like G4. Another brand of additive-free tequila, which is made by Carlos’ brother Felipe. Definitely a good sipper.
I've always been hesitant to use ultra premium tequila in a cocktail, but after making a Tommy's Margarita with Siete Leguas Reposado, I completely changed my mind. Definitely picking up this bottle when I finish up my G4
@@jackbrady86 if you like G4 you’ll also like Terralta. It’s made from the same agave but with different water sources. G4 is made with a 50/50 blend of rain water and spring water, and Terralta is made with deep well water. Slightly different flavor profile, but equally good.
I think the Blanco may be in a new bottle style but I still see the other bottle styles for the Reposado and Anejo. I'm somewhat new to the brand so I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for mentioning that though. I did realize this after the review as well. I would say I do like the Reposado and Anejo bottles over this style bottle. Thanks for the comment, cheers!
This brand is somehow tied to Jim Beam (maybe for distribution in the US?) and this looks to me like the same bottle as the Bakers bourbon I just picked up. Just a different cork. I do like the previous Tesoro bottle better. It's more unique. Great review! I'm also getting into tequila and just bought the LALO. I gotta say it's awesome and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. Cheers.

I've been wanting to review G4, thanks for the suggestion! Cheers!
@@EastCoastLQReviews G4 Reposado is my favorite tequila right now.

Carlos Camarena is the Master Distiller at La Alteña Distillery, which produces El Tesoro, Tapatio, and Tequila Ocho. Absolutely great tequilas.
I would prefer El Tesoro in a margarita/tequila soda. For shots, I still prefer G4. Great tequila, nonetheless. Great review, man!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
I'm looking forward to the head to head! Would be great if you can also review the Tapatio and the Lalo Blanco's. I'm subbing. Thanks!
great review & price , that's a $65 bottle in my area. Thanks !
Is that bought in usa for $65
New bottle cap? No more Tahona cap?
