Some of my guitars are played by professional musicians, including musicians who played with our Minnesota's Own Prince.
For this to work, I will need patron support through Patreon. The more support, the more guitars to give away and I will film it for your pleasure! I've gotta pay for parts somehow :) The first guitar featured was in process prior to developing the idea and already has a destination, however my hope is to continue building guitars and giving them away to individuals who need a boost in life. What I meant was; Don't you have to play guitar the way the Purple One played to have one of those cloud guitars? Like you have to be a chosen one, or at least Prince's skills?

Something I have seen people use, and been meaning to try, is a tuning fork for testing pickups. It seems smarter (no risk at all for scratching pickup covers or anything). Easy to test volume pot too.
Yeah that is a good idea. Although I haven’t had any issues testing the EMG pickups this way, but if they were metal, I’d put a cloth over it first.
Fantastic build , Maestro ! Beside , how much paint on fingerboard affect the tone , and how about bronze nut , will it be too much snappy than ?
Paint on the fretboard really doesn’t seem to change tone at all! The nut is brass. Prince’s original had a brass nut…it adds sustain and is brighter than a bone nut, but it isn’t thin. With the EMG pickups it’s a combination a lot of guys want for recording and live performance. One of those things though where the guitar makes a difference on the sound…..this set up is amazing for funk, jazz, blues and rock, but probably not your first choice for grunge or death metal.

Hey Thanks Darryl! I appreciate it! I primarily focus on the X Orizon semi-hollow guitars….The cloud style guitars (depending on some options) can run 2800 to 3200.. right now I’m backed up about 8 months…between the sales and giveaways
A total dream for me to own one of these guitars! The icing on the cake, would be to able to play it as good as Prince! 💜🎸
I love that you use all of the Schaller hardware. The locking tuners are great!
If you don’t mind, may I make one suggestion. Puretone makes much more superior output jack then Switchcraft. They are normally the same price sometimes even less. You should try them. They come highly recommended from many friends that I know that are professional touring musicians.

The jacks come with the EMGs. I haven’t tried the other ones.
Do you sell the schaller 457 bridge? Otherwise, what is the Gotoh replacement bridge?
Gotoh 2570 wrap around bridge….but I prefer the Schaller wrap around. The 457 isn’t available.

Where can i buy a 7 string version?
They don’t exist….you would need to have one custom made… and if you do there will still be elements that won’t be like the original. The Schaller bridge was never made in a seven string version and I would have to verify, but I don’t think the same pickups are available in 7string either. You could find alternatives that could substitute.
