I feel the Wire season 4 finale final grades was a great episode that should be talked about more.
Yes! Season 4 was so incredible, and heart-breaking.
Death of Wallace in Season 1, Penultimate episodes in Seasons 2 and 3, multiple episodes in Season 4. Heck, Bunny's paper bag speech alone should have earned a place for All Due Respect.
I prefer the penultimate episode of that season personally

Watchmojo lists are always ass. Like, how did they put Everyone's Waiting on 16th. And no Ecotone, Falling Into Place or All Alone? That's a fucking disgrace. And to not have any of those episodes, but put The Constant on the list?
Sesame Street's "Goodbye Mr. Hopper" was one of their best because it was so real...even though the character was not.
I get why you say this episode but there weren’t any kids shows in the list. And they tend to be a completely different ball game.
It was so real because the actor, who played Mr. Hooper, had died suddenly in real life. That's why Mr. Hooper died.
"Six Feet Under" was a show all about death, so it makes sense to show each main character's inevitable death in the span of a montage was incredibly fitting. It still gives me goosebumps almost 20 years later.

I would like to give an honorable mention to the Scrub's episode Ben's Death, it's absolutely heartbreaking, the acting is excellent and it will always stick with me forever. It's my favorite show of all time.

I've never seen the show but is this the episode with the How To Save a Life scene? I remember I used to re watch that clip on TH-cam all the time, always wanted to get into the show but never did
I would argue, although not really since it is one of my favourite tv-shows and that Brendan Fraser came up with the “twist”, that the Scrubs episode My old lady is slightly.. Better is not the right word but has a more impact. But that’s like my opinion man..

"Once More with Feeling" deserves at least an honorable mention. It feels like one of the most amazing episodes of television ever. Multiple episodes of Buffy left my jaw on the floor because I could not believe what I had just experienced. Joss Whedon was constantly experimenting and going places that nobody had gone before. I think that Season 5 was the best with one great episode after another and a season-long mind-bending story.
Right up there is the LOST pilot. Battlestar Galactica was also extraordinary television, especially with season 3 being very gritty touching on real-world politics. It was mind-bending as well.
The Doctor Who "A Good Man Goes to War" is the peak of a truly epic story that spanned multiple seasons.
My pick for an honorable mention is also from "Doctor Who" but instead a classic episode, "The Caves Of Androzani."
I watched Buffy and Angel when it was originally aired and thought it amazing. Since then I have watched countless tv shows over the years, and regularly make recommendations to friends and family and often hear back from them a few months later saying what they thought of said show. I have really struggled to get anyone to watch Buffy or Angel though, and I think I have only heard of one person I know who watched it (nothing to do with me). I wonder if it looks too dated or the nature of season 1 of Buffy puts people off or maybe something else. It's refreshing to hear about someone liking the show.

@@thebasedgodmax1163 I haven't looked but I would have guessed there would be, as there is for just about everything these days. Saying that, it's still good to hear there is a large community that appreciate and still discuss the show. Whilst my experience isn't a lot to go on, I still feel the show is underrated/not as popular as it should be for some reason. My daughter watched the first few episodes a couple of years back (about 14 at the time). My wife had recommended it I think. She gave up after a few episodes. She currently studies musical theatre and I was recently telling her about the musical episode, and how good it was (IMHO) - thinking it might pique her interest. She responded with every show does that - kinda so what! She's not wrong, but wasn't Buffy the first?!
@@DariusKhanI watched Buffy in the early 2010’s. My friend recommended it but told me I didn’t need to watch the first season because it wasn’t a great representation of the show. I didn’t watch season 1, it was easy to follow despite that, and I ended up liking it pretty quickly. I have to say the same thing to people when I recommend Parks and Rec. Just start with season 2. And maybe give them a little warning that the teen speak might seem dated at first, but it’s worth it.
Where is Mr Robot´s Proxy Authentication Required episode from the 4th season??? 9.9 on IMBD, What a underrated series is Mr. Robot, what a pity :(

Charlie Work is incredibly overrated. It wasn't even the best episode of season 10 in my opinion.
Charlie work is a fantastic episode, but I think the nightman cometh or Mac and Dennis moves to the suburbs are better episodes for example
Attack on titan season 3 episode 16 and 17 were one of the best episodes of a show I have ever seen.
S3E17 and S4E7 are still rated 9.9 on IMDB

I've never watched Breaking Bad so I don't know if that's the best episode or not. If I ever watch it I will come back here and let you know if its the best or not
IMO, while it fell off a bit arguably in the seasons after, Last Day on Earth from the Walking Dead was so good, and the fact that it was a season finale with a climatic end seeing Negan for the first time and him executing an unseen party memeber of the main group. Yeah, just the pacing and everything in it is really well done.
I don't think I could disagree more with this, the slow-feeling 40-minute wait after like six episodes of build-up to meet Negan, only for the show to make an absolute calamity of introducing him - really poor
"Beside the Dying Fire" is for me the No.1 episode of the show
That Mr Robot episode shot full in sequence from the beginning to the end is pretty impressive
22:57 I believe you made a mistake here. “Ozymandias” is actually the series’s THIRD-to-last episode, with the penultimate episode being “Granite State”, followed by the series finale, “Felina”.
True detective is some of the best characterization those actors could play, and Seinfeld is one of my favs

'Weirdmaggdon 3: Take Back the Falls" definately should be on this list. It's an amazing climax to an already amazing TV show, with great action and a very emotional climax
Some episodes I'd like to have seen on the list, "A God Walks Into Abar" Watchmen, "Luck of the Fryrish" Futurama, "My Lunch" Scrubs, "Make Love Not Warcraft" South Park, "Remedial Chaos Theory" Community, and "Two Cathedrals" West Wing.
Thanks for picking Luck of the Fryrish instead of Jurassic Bark. Everyone always jumps on the latter and both are great but I definitely prefer Fryrish.

@Příběhy strejdy Kučiho I'll be honest, I had a difficult time picking a South Park episode. I chose Warcraft rather than a few other episodes I like more because it was such a landmark episode. I do agree with you, I like Fun With Weapons more, but I feel it didn't have as much of a cultural impact.
The moment they said "The Body," I knew I had to comment. If anyone has ever lost a parent, it hits so differently. I was watching it recently, and when I got to that episode, I had to pause it several times. I cried when I first saw it, but that was something different this time
It's really disappointing that "Two Cathedrals" from The West Wing isn't included in this list. It's truly one of the best written, acted, and directed episodes of television I've ever seen.
The last lines that Radar reads in "Abyssinia Henry" were cold. They thought the shoot had wrapped when the director called in one more scene. No one but Gary Gary Burghoff, the writer, and the director knew what was coming. Their reactions were 100% real, including the accidental drop of the medical instrument.
Loved seeing lost on here and that iconic episode as it’s probably the most interesting and well written episode. But I’d take the finale of Lost on top of it all it was easily the most relieving ending I’ve ever watched for a television series
Long, Long Time from The Last of Us I think should be considered here. Nick Offerman proves he's a treat we hardly deserve in that episode
Naturally, I’d like to see an episodic example from all my personal favorite shows, but that’s never gonna happen, haha! So, I hope to at least see one of them make this list, which would still be impressive. This had to have been very difficult.

Especially Chicanery, the conflict between Jimmy and Chuck in that show was riveting. One of the most heartbreaking and compelling relationships ever put on TV.

The Judgement PT 1 and PT 2 from "The Fugitive" are among my favorite best episodes to close off a television series.
And I believe that it was the first (if not, then one of them) to have a definite series finale.
'Ozymandias' and 'Pine Barrens' are both masterpieces of Television. 'Homer's Enemy' is extremely sad. Poor Frank Grimes. I also think 'Too Far Gone' should've made this list. Such an incredible Episode of The Walking Dead!!!
Pine Barrens is a masterpiece and a great standalone episode but I think the episode that really sets the stage for the Sopranos and lets the viewer fully comprehend who Tony Soprano is would be Season 1's College.

When it comes to The Simpsons, I always have that debate with “Homer’s Enemy!”, & “Cape Feare” as my favorite episodes. We all know the synopsis with what Mojo stated about one of them, but “Cape Feare”, as I call it “Sideshow Bob’s Greatest Episode”, from the storyline to the Hilarious Scenes, especially with how Homer scares the Crap outta Bart.

Great to see The Body from Buffy in there, that is such a great episode. For me, the Person of interest episode If-Then-Else is an all time great, inventive, humour, gut punching finale, that show needs more love
The episode Window of Opportunity from Stargate SG-1 would of also been a good choice for this list.

Winds of Winter and it’s not even close. The beginning with just music and no words is so intense. The ending with Daenerys sailing for Westeros is the rare celebratory moment in GOT.
I just love that you guys put animated shows in this. They are incredibly underrated.
When “The Contest” is only #10, you know there are some good episodes in there.
A Quest for the lost Mixamajig from Mixels was pretty interesting. I loved that special when it aired in 2015.
Futurama: Jurassic Bark (season 4, episode 7). If you've had a pet, and even if you didn't, you were all in tears at this episode.
I am astonished the legendary Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati , "Turkeys Away" didn't make this list. It's widely regarded as one of the funniest episodes in the history of sitcoms. It's certainly funnier and better written than any episode of Friends.
Thank you! This episode was piss your pants funny at the time. One of the great TV tragedies is them not paying for the music rights so we can watch this show as it was meant to be viewed.

I would definitely add ‘The Bitter Suite’ or ‘The Ides of March’ from Xena to this list. One episode features Xena and Gabrielle singing their hearts out as they try to end their rift and it’s to beautifully well done. The other episode sees Xena trying to kill Caesar because he put a reward out for Xena’s capture. And in her rage to try to kill him, he ends up capturing Gabrielle and her friends which causes Xena to go rescue them. And in the end, Xena is injured as they try to escape which leads to her and Gabrielle getting crucified together in one of the most emotional scenes of the show.

I love how the Succession writers managed to subvert our expectations. We thought that we'd be getting some wacky wedding shenagians, not the sudden death of the main antagonist. Ironically enough, had Logan attended the wedding, then he would have been able to get medical attention sooner, instead of dying alone in an aeroplane bathroom.
That show is such a masterpiece, sad it ended but what a finale.
I am very disappointed that "self control" or "as I have always been" from Agents of Shield didn't make the list

Season 2 episode 4 of Daredevil(Penny and Dime), is the best episode of the whole series! Frank Castle's monologue in the graveyard scene is on of the most emotional moments I've ever seen. Jon Burnthal does an absolutely spectacular job portraying how broken Frank Castle is. Plus the action scenes in that episode are top tier as well!

I'm a little older, but the MASH episode called Adams' ribs.....classic from to frustrating end. It was so fun, and anticipation builds each minute a Hawkeye chases ribs from Chicago to Korea
I am not sure where it is among episodes, but episode 1/2 of the original "Magnum PI" season two, "Did You See The Sunrise?" has the single greatest scene at the end. It is one that I have replayed many times.
Dinner Party is my favorite episode of The Office. Stress Relief is also great.

Seasons 1-3 were very good, afterwards it became too crazy with the time travel and shit.
Anyway, the best X Files episodes easily equal the best Lost episodes, if not better.

Some of my personal all-time TV faves are TNG's "Darmok", The Amazing World of Gumball's "The Choices" and Jim Henson's The Storyteller's "The Heartless Giant".

If you watch a lot of Cartoon Network, the "Burrito" episode of We Bare Bears is a heartbreaker too
South Park’s “Make Love Not Warcraft.” Futurama’s “The Devil’s Hands are playing Idle.” Also I kind of find “Homer’s Enemy” kind of mean spirited, because Frank Grimes isn’t really a bad guy, he just hates how Homer is incompetent and gets away from violating safety protocols, and Grimes committed suicide because people tolerate Homer’s behavior at the factory!

9:12 Mizumono changed my brain chemistry the first time I watched it and will forever stay with me. I rewatched the episode too many times to count that I unconsciously memorized the dialogues in the kitchen scene by heart. Still hoping for season 4 even though it's already been a decade :'))

M*A*S*H: Goodbye, Farewell, Amen is an INEXCUSABLE omission.
The part where Walter goes off on Skylar wasn't the most important part or most interesting. Not sure why that was highlighted. Hank getting killled and having his body dumped in a ditch with his partner was far more jaw dropping.
They may not wanted to give it away so to speak.

The Homer's Enemy was the most memorable episode of the Simpsons. It was the Simpsons in its prime.
Totally agree with STNG The Inner Light. It’s two parts but the Best of Both Worlds is the best!
"Best of Both Worlds" is a rockin' *Star Trek* episode. As a theatrical work, though, it's not that outstanding. "The Inner Light", on the other hand, was a deeply moving experience, transcendent of genre.
I don’t know why but every time i see Frank Grimes from The Simpsons I’m always reminded of William Foster who was played Michael Douglas in the hit 1993 film Falling Down that was directed by Joel Schumacher. I couldn’t agree more about the Stress Relief episode of The Office. It’s one of my all time favorite sitcoms aside from Married With Children.
