To be fair and transparent, the Filipinos in that war were supported by a huge force of tanks, aircrafts and artillery from U.S while the Chinese didn't have as much. So for me it was no surprise how they won with fewer casualties.

My grandfather fought that War in 1950 I know because he awarded a thaigok medal in in 2005.
