- 3 Ways To Get Faster In Real Racing
This video is split in 3 parts, Assists, Line Choice and Braking. I tried putting 3 common mistakes people make while driving together with tips and tricks on how to not to make these so you can become faster in real racing 3 and hopefully win more races!
It's mostly directed to beginners but we all make these mistakes from time to time, especially with braking points. Hopefully this helps you see your mistakes and helps you improve your driving in real racing 3.
I'll make a more advanced How To Get EVEN Faster in RR3 video soon (link down below), where i'll focus deeper on line choice especially because even the perfect line can change sometimes depending on the corners you need to take and stuff.
But as you can see these rules don't only apply to Real Racing 3 but any racing game, it's the basic racing rules you need to know to get faster in any game and even real life in case you get to race.

Do u have instagram or tueter because i have a vedio with drifting
Whats the phone that your using?
@Mighty Droid what app do you use to record game play? (if u use samsung)
Steering is not useless
Get set go for the race.
th-cam.com/video/7wFQGUYeyOs/w-d-xo.html
Once you get used to no assists, there no going back.
3:04 I felt that
LMAO we all do my guy
Lmao that's heavy
the line said: skrrrrrtkdkdirjrujxkwojdjskkwkdmc
It feels like the A.I are using assists because they are so slow at every corners
Yeah lol, they brake a lot.
But in endless endurance races when you go far they get pretty damn good
To me what happens are that the ones that are in the back are slow, the between 2nd and 4th are faster, and the 1st one is always way faster than the others, it's considerably visible in some corners that don't need brakes, most cars do use it, but the first ones don't
exept magnus
if you start to get involved in multiplayer rr3 starts shoving AI that mimmicks people from a similar level to yours and they become quite tough
Get set go for the race.

Steering assist does add a little bit of traction control with it.
Yeah maximize the arch in the corners by following the side strips and you'll main tain your speed , Nice video bro 👌
Yeah well said. Thanks!
@@AnakkiDan so slow it just gets in my way
What so your basically saying I could go 240 mph into one of the chicanes at Le Mans tf lol
Well maintaining your speed is basically not wasting more than you should on the turn, meanwhile hitting the chicanes at 240mph would waste the driver
But it requires to slow down a lot, not good for sharp turns
A simple rule: high speed out of the corner beats high speed going into it.
My correct thing: not going corner
My mistake: i never brake the whole race ,drifting, going to grass
And remember
Slow in -> fast out
There u go mate. Thanks, i forgot to mention that
Unless ur divebombing someone
Is that viperconcept's reference?
That's what she said!
I'll make a video on that soon
I always switch brake assist to low, because it means you don't have to devote much attention to braking, but you don't slow down too early or too much
Sometimes on races I also use the grass verge to slow me down a little if I'm entering a corner too fast, and this helps me to stay on the track more
i turned off all assist lol
What you expect when drifting:
CLEAN
What you actually get:
Grass go brrrrrr
LMAO true
i get clean drifts on the tarmac and then everyone overtakes me
@@AnakkiDan so true, i have pulled it off though a few times even with the carrera gt, thing is you do it without counter steering because if you counter steer it goes of, the best way is brake early and hard and as your going through the turn flick the steering and no countersteer. "Maybe a bit will be needed but not really...
Great Video! 👍🏼🏁
that cornering tip really works and helped me to get more shorter lap time :)
Little tip from me about braking. I recommend to sometimes just take corner without gas and a bit braking.
For me high steering and low brake assist works best for me
Try experimenting with no assists
Yeah, I let the brake assist stays on (low) just to keep me from going off course, bcoz sometimes I missed the braking point and, well, crash .
You get way better times running no assistance and no abs
Dude so true lol can't drift with the high brakes at all and it's very easy to corner cut with low brake assist without losing any speed
Great content, Keep uploading more videos on rr3
Thanks! I have a few ideas, stay tuned.
My time in an Autocross at Silverstone
Car: Camaro ZL1 (2013)
Low Turn assist
TCS on
No braking assist
44.787 seconds
Low Turn Assist
TCS on
High Brake Assist
48.237 seconds
Great content bro. Helps for beginners like me😉
Thanks! I'll make some more detailed videos soon too
This was helpful. Thanks for the video.
I'm happy to hear that mate!
And in case you want a more advanced video on corners, you can watch part 2 which i uploaded today

Nice info gan
Really helpful
Nice video Mr.Tutor . Racing School Next Level
;)
If you are using a low hp car like the bmw m1 but great for corners is that go to the outside lane as to get enough speed to overtake faster opponents. If you are using faster ones like the countach or ferrari pls use the inner lane as that gives the the best chance that you will not overshoot
Edit:btw if you're trying to drift use inner for faster cars and outer for slower cars and try to get pratice since you don't get it in the first tries
I should have been here a year earlier, but wanna say, I always use low breaks assist, but high starting assist.
Nice tips but I recommend tilt control
Thanks dude
Hello, I noticed there is timing to braking not just using the whole road to turn better. Too early before the bend is bad, you still have troubles getting around the bend because of accelerating after I let go of brake. Too late is bad, though you can recover, it just leaves you open to be overtaken, and you aren’t coming out of turn as fast as if you did brake timing correctly. I’d say 1st quarter of turn is brake, 2nd quarter release, brake and release. All depends on the type of turn. But usually when you are finishing your turn and you got your car positioned well so you aren’t flying off the track if you let go of the brakes. But sooner is better.
Yes very well said. I made a part 2 video as well where i tried to explain this
Mighty Droid I just watched it and you only did slow in fast out.. Which is a great tip. I need to learn to incorporate it more in my races. I like to pump my brakes and go around the turns at the fastest I can. Which isn’t always the best way to take the turn.
Thanks for the tips bro! I am an advanced racer, but i still make some mistakes in the track.
Yeah dude we all do, i'm glad i helped
@@AnakkiDan what app do you use to record game play?
For the cornering it just means they need to drive faster since most of the time the car naturally goes outward after a corner
as someone who had played Real Racing for years now, i do recommend playing with traction control because 1 mistake can lead to alot more loss of time than with it off. also, formula 1 is defenitely the best gamemode in RR3
1. All assists fully of
2. Manual acceleration and brakes
3. Physical steering (whole device)
4. Steering sensitivity at 10 (maximum)
That is how you will drive the fastest 95% of the time. Take it from someone who has been playing this game since 2014
thx youre the best
Thank you for the tutorial. I always forget to brake at corners and in result I would be thrown far off the track😅 I play real racing 3 as asphalt 9 so this tutorial helps me a lot
Glad i helped mate! I had the same problem as a beginner
Thank you teacher
Besides buttons are harder cuz u have to control the car simultaneously
I use no assists to get the most realistic experience and have watched videos about pretty much every racing games
Idk if this helps newer players but i think i have some tips too? Correct me if im wrong. But usually sometimes if u find a track hard, u can learn it first knowing each corner, and then from there on pick up speed when ur full sending it, also in racing lines like he said, start wide, cut the apex, and then go back outwards, use the little red and white strip things as a guide for ur braking timing and ur cornering, try not to drift, but sometimes pushing ur car to the limit, youll feel it lose just a tiny bit of grip, thats good, its called slip angle, search it up. But yeah just try not to swing it, get used to both your car and the track, know the limits. And trust me your lap times will be crazy
Yes, sweet tips mate
@@AnakkiDan i dont even know why im commenting lmao barely anyone plays this game anymore, im just playing this for fun at this point
True, the fanbase keeps shrinking daily
Guys this is my setup in the game
Controls:Tilt
Manual acceleration manual braking
Steering assist: HIGH
Braking assist:Low
Traction control:ON
just came up here few months later. here's my take, just off the brake assist, because its the only thing that stops you from being fast, because as you said the assist brakes too early and too often. but other than that, im pretty much agree
meanwhile me who doesn't even use assists: DRIFTS LIKE CRAZY BUT DON'T GO OUT OF TRACK. tbh they look good and speed is maintained...so if you can play with assists, you're gonna be way ahead...
don't break too much either, it'll slow you down a lot
Nice
LMAO that's me at 1:53
all i needed
;)
Racing Line is the basic of the basic from all Racing Games, i already learn this back from 1998 when playing Gran Turismo 1. Other peoples call this technique Out - In - Out. But in arcade game like burnout, asphalt, etc. Some this Racing Line doesn't Worked. You have mastered this technique if u going to aim best Lap Time. EVERY track have the own racing line, if you can memorize it all, then ur going to be master.
Waoaaooo thinks for your advise
Thanks a lot bro
;)
Hey dud i play too this game and i Think Your Channel is really nice keep it go ;)
Bs. I play this game since 2015
Thanks you!
I think i started around 2015 too
@@AnakkiDan nice dud have you got a discord Server when not come to me in the Server
I don't use discord actually
Pro tip: keep your break assist on low off everything else and drift or power slide on corners and turns it will make your turn faster without losing much speed
Get set go for the race.
th-cam.com/video/7wFQGUYeyOs/w-d-xo.html
good one
Thanks
Those tips are quite good, but you also makong some mistakes. You are hitting inside apex too early so you can't accelerate as fast as possible. Try also to lower your steering sensitivity
Hi bro one question i have bought buggati bolide how can i drive it
Thenkyou 😊☺
Good
I know how to drive, still i am watching this
Me too lol
Me too. I just like to learn more optimal ways to drive
I don't know if i can do that but im not very begginer i stil playing with low brake assissts and high steering and traction controll on so i wil try but i don't if i can do better with out assissts
Me personally I’m still learning so I’ve set brake assist at low and then I’ll work on from there.
Also what type of control do you use? Me personally I use the default one.
I use buttons but tilt is better
I also used to high assists
Now I'm on low
Then in in 1 or 2 months of practice of no assist
I will top leather board
Motivation for rr3 players
So, all you need is perfect timing and knowledge about the each tracks.
And, please don't use the S🅱️inalla when you racing.
Can you tell what the best settings are to race the fastest race
Tilt B makes you even quicker.
Did you use automatic acceleration in this video? What do you recommend? I have been using manual braking with automatic acceleration ever since I started playing this game, but I don't know if I should keep using this system or if I will be faster with manual braking and manual acceleration.
Yeah i use automatic acceleration, you can do very well with it but manual has some pros too, for example when you slide you release the gas and the car gets grip again
you will progress with your skills faster if you keep automatic acceleration, pain of loosing grip will make you really try to not. also it's faster because transition from breaking to accelerating is instant
Trick is always go full speed try to cut through when turning
My setup is, low steering, no brake assist, and traction on
for the racing in the begging i was just following the ai bcs i was like they are all in formation i want to be there too
You could do a second part towards track extensions and taking advantage of the game physics
Yeah i'm planning to do some more videos like this, which i'll make when i have some more time
@@AnakkiDan yeah, that takes a lot of time
I recommend everything to set everything to minimum
yo i always drifting just like you
Tilt b is better than a use tilt b you got a new sub but I recommend using tilt b
I just realized i forgot to say this wtf. So yes tilt B is the best control to use because it lets you let go of the gas especially when you lose traction you use it to gain control, but i've gotten so used to buttons that i just keep using them, but good thing you mentioned it so people can see it now.
Thanks for the sub!
Mighty Droid oh okay
Is there any way you can do training on this game, for example choosing the track, the car you want?
Not quite training but if you own the car and go to a race with a race with the track u wanna try you can sorta do the same thing
Bro how did you apply these graphics
Top
Yes basically for racing game begginer is obvious that outside inside outside line is fastest it can be true but if you look on real f1 racing some of them use square racing line which means that you brake litle bit later and they hiting late apex which does that car is litle bit slower in turn but is sooner straitght and you can push on gas earlier which means faster time and less chance of oversteer like you in the last corner of your run mate
But the best you can do is mixing these two racing lines on tracks and corners
Thanks😑
When I Turn off steering assist and brake assist I Never Been Good When I turn off streeng wheel and brake assist. And When I Turn On Brake Assist And steering Wheel I BEATED MY PRIME ME... Yea I Made A Pretty Tries To Beat (The Time When automatically turn on brake and steering assist).. Yeah This Was Prime Time I Think 1 min and 40/45 seconds. And I beat In 1 min 35 sec. ItWas So Easy When U Taught Me Cornor And Brake... Maybe If This Is The Longest Comment In This Video😱
But Still Thanks😑
(Sorry If My English Too Hard to Understand)
i drive in rr3 with all assits off and with tcs fully off, i even drive the carrera gt without tcs and all assists off, and gotten 1st. "No joke"
hi can reset its settings in the game
How am I supposed to learn the track and find all the braking points if there's no practice mode? Experimenting with braking points during a 1 lap race is not ideal.
Pls use tilt for more control
yeah i always make my car close to the curbs
Slow in, hit the middle of the inside (apex) of the corner, fast out.
Does drifting around corners slow you down?
Having 2 wheels on the grass increases your breaking distance (10 years of RR3 knowledge) xD
does drifting in a corner gives you any advantage compared to taking a corner the normal way? there are some corners where the car would just go slow, but i found ways of making a drift on such corners and they can be taken much faster, or at least to keep the speed you had before the corner while doing it, nice video btw.
Most of the time sliding will make you lose speed, but i noticed sometimes when i slide i can take some corners with a bit of higher speed but i never actually did a test with it
@@AnakkiDan from what i have seen, the number of corners to do such action are limited, and mostly works in small circuits, but yeah sometimes doing it is unnecessary because you can spend more seconds sliding than just taking the corner, you have to be very selective.
@@04liverydesign7 drifting won’t be faster on any turns unless you cut corners. The physics in the game don’t allow you to drift realistically or power through a drift, and it just makes you lose significant speed. Going through corners isn’t necessarily about maintaining the most speed during entry. A slow exit speed will cost seconds because you need to be accelerating out of corners as early as possible to get the highest speed the earliest, especially on straights. When you lose traction in this game on multiplayer you watch the players behind you all pass
Butt the Q is how to drift on the corners?
Nice but which recorder do u use?
Samsung's built in game launcher
@@AnakkiDan oo
Have you ever played acc?
4.if you have a maxed out car and the ai is low level just turn on break assist and nothing else
I find it very helpful to only turn on LOW STEERING ASSIST. Im pretty sure it doesnt affect your time, and the car is ALOT more responsive.
But one problem tho the ai will get in your way and sometimes you will have no choice but to be aggressive
You can overtake someone on outside of track or on the inside while in turns... Depends on brakes. What the player or AI will do. So for example if I’m on the outside and AI is on inside, I might slow down a bit earlier than usual to give myself a bit of room from the other car so that translates into turning room on the last part of the turn when inside goes outside to try and cut me off. Or if they stay on the inside then I brake a tiny bit later than them and then pump the brakes as I go around to maintain traction and if player or AI messes up his turn then I overtake.. If not then we neck and neck
Thanks for all the info mate
It’s good to have a few tricks up your sleeve for if one option is blocked, you have other ways to overtake.
Actually i watch this not because i wanna learn but im curious, seriously in the thumbnail i learned that from gran turismo
:)
I don't agree with you, low steering assists are very useful, they give you much better feel on how hard you can turn, especialy when you reach corners with a high grip car and this turn is very quick. without steering assists you have to turn your device like 40-50 degrees to the side but with assists you never go over about 30 degrees. difference is especialy huge because 30 degrees is the highest turn which is comfortable and these 10-20 extra degrees you gotta add from both sides so it's up to 40 degrees total.
but I came here because I wanted to find an early vid of RR3 and write there that I have never seen a video on yt of someone who is really pro in RR3 and can do corners almost perfect consistently, breaking always only once for each corners, never tap braking. I would watch more RR3 vids if there were some but now it's pain watching people stay 1 meter from each road side and rarely go with side wheels off the track. it feels slow
Good point, wouldn't increasing the sensitivity fix that tho?
I have a question... Umm is there a seperate practice mode?? How to enter it
Sadly not, you can only practice in races
Hello, can i ask a question, should i use auto acceleration or manual acceleration, and which is faster?
Manual is better, but myself i use auto ciz it's simpler. Never had trouble with it
@@AnakkiDan is the manual faster than auto? Or is there no difference at all?
Yeah i meant manual is faster
I think it's only THAT useful if you wanna do time trials so u can get thode extra seconds, as for other stuff you'll pretty much never need manual
@@AnakkiDan ok thanks for the tips
Oh and don’t forget to use time trials to practice tracks.
Nice tip!
I reached level 103 but still not able to play with off steering assists. Other assists are off but this steering control is out of my control when turned off. Should it make a difference if I use low steering assist.
Why exactly do you use steering assist though? I never really used it myself
@@AnakkiDan I don't know myself why I am not able to play with steering assists off.
It becomes a lot difficult to turn and the car goes off track. Still I am working on it.lets hope if I could do i
@@ayushmangal8647 it was hard in the start too me too, i used to play with high steering assists on high with low breaking assists and traction control on, i decided to turn all off to get the achievment without assists, at the start i thought to turn it all assists all back beacause it was too hard, but i kept them off until i got to 100 wins, when i finally did it, it wasn't a problem no more, so i play with no assists since that happened.
What can you do if you are in the first corner and with a lot of cars?🤔I always bump into other cars.
Either go inside or outside, so basically around them. But sometimes i don't brake and hit them to slow my car down, it works
@@AnakkiDan Because my car always ends up in the first corner 😭.
I might make a video on it if i have enough information to share!
I used them as a brake . And it helps to gain pole position faster .
VIPERCONCEPT OF RR3.
I used low assists but then on a video by ME7, I turned them off and became way faster
Yes it's much better with them off.
But if it is ofg the brake i will drift
Thats not how you take corners, search for racing line on the Internet.
Im good at the f1 car
And i bought the shelby cobra
I dont know how to drive it i always get out of the track when turning
Brake more, but also i'll make a tutorial on how to never go off track soon
I the secret of driving without assists. Off the horizon tilt and your good to go... right?
Yeah i think that'd help because horizon tilt kinda makes it complicated
♥️
You use buttons me too
Better view is cockpit
