It’s a very cool human instinct, actually! (Some people have it to a greater extent than other obviously but almost everyone sees some amount of faces in something) it’s so interesting but I can’t remember the name off the top of my head right now oops

Ever since I can remember I always see a lil’ face in the car radio.
I actually use this as a way to kickstart my creativity when I'm feeling stuck. I take an implement and draw a lazy scribble moving my hand however feels right. Then, I look into the scribble and see things in it: a duck, a cat, man with a top hat.... whatever I see, I darken the lines in that make it up until I bring the character out.
You will forever be one of my favourite creators.

i go out of my comfort zone in my room, by trying new styles of art that im not comfortable with, and painting on big canvases, witch makes my anxiety go crazy btw. 😂😂

Frankly, that is my personal DIY nail painting issue for years, LOL. Sometimes I feel like building my skill in using my left hand to colour my right hand, but other times, I just go get it professionally done.
Now, the important question is: how does PJ get his nail done? :D

When I was a child I collected Where's Wally? books and liked to stare at those pics for hours, same with children's encyclopedias where pages for "how Pyramids were built?" were full of tiny people with unique designs, personality and a whole story behind them doing their thing.
I like how detailed those faces are. You did a great job! And graffiti vibe is really cool.
I found another person just like me. I realised recently that this is why I love games like Age of empires, age of mythology, rollercoaster and zoo tycoon etc.

this is awesome PJ! i used to draw this style all over my school books; i loved fitting each drawing together so that the final image was a massive square. i didn't realise this was an actual art style! im definitely going to have to buy a giant canvas and try this for myself now

I have actually started experiencing with this style a while back and it was because I was really inspired by your videos! Idk watching you rambling about stuff while doing your thing just made me want to draw tiny creatures on each other with tiny details and I gotta say it's a really cool and relaxing thing to do! I highly recommend to everyone to just sit down with a pen and let your hand draw anything without using an eraser or worrying about it. It's really therapeutic.

I've been drawing stuff like this (well a little like this, not exactly) for almost a year now and I don't know how many times I felt like I needed a new hand. I've used a canvas once (it wasn't as big as this one, but not small either). I did it for an art competition at my school and the requirements were that you paint with oil paint on a canvas. It was really fun to colour everything in but I'm not gonna lie I did the lineart with Sharpie so I wouldn't ruin the whole thing after working on it for at least three weeks.
Keep up the good work PJ and maybe try to do one with colours too! It makes the pictures look even more alive and busy than they already do

Some parts gave me Art Attack vibes which is truly a blast from the past
A suggestion to do line-art with paint is to water down the paint a bit.
If you plan to add colour you’d need to colour it first and then add line art so not to frustrate you in colouring between the lines.
Plus it helps with cleanup afterwards
