“it doesn’t tell you how to do any of this in the recipe” is so real. some recipes have step-by-step instructions on what everything means with pictures, and sometimes it’s like “guess what i mean by frothy, because i guarantee it’s not what you’re gonna think.” it’s like those makeup tutorials where they’re like “then do a cut crease” YOURE SUPPOSED TO TELL ME HOW, BRO also unrelated and unsolicited pie baking tip: my mom always gets asked her secret for how her pies taste so good, and it’s literally just doubling the spices in whatever recipe she’s using. happy baking, y’all!
The pumpkin is actually a vegetable. This because vegetables are not a classification in science. If you look at it botanically yes then it is a fruit, but if you look at it in terms of cooking its a vegetable and not a fruit.
