    This is unbelievably good! I think it's odd I haven't seen a forced perspective diorama until now but the effect is mesmerizing.

      Thank you! I’m pretty sure Jazza did a forced perspective diorama once, but he chose a difficult angle. Because I chose a full frontal view the effect is very strong, I think. (I chose this angle because it is easier to build though, not because I had any idea that it would work better or anything 🙈)

    This is SO COOL!!! You are super talented. The forced perspective, the way you sculpted his clothes. The brown wash on the face makes him look like a wolf man though lol. I love it!

      Thank you so much! The face is definitely not right 🙈 Luckily it looks a little bit better in real life with the lantern on 😊

    Very effective; both the false-perspective layout and the painting! As far as I could tell, there is nothing wrong with the way you painted the vampire.

      Thank you! I think I’m just less patient when it comes to painting, so I tend to be more critical on it. But I’m glad you like it!

    Thanks so much for this video. I've been trying for weeks to figure out how to determine the distance of the focal point in a container. Was so simple but was just going over my head. Got a new follower. Thanks

    Amazing and inspiring. I would love to see more forced perspective dioramas. Subbed! My only quirk with this is that the brightness of the moon draws my eyes in so much more than the vampire.

    • @atelier_AG
      @atelier_AG  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I think you are right that the moon draws a bit too much attention. I was hoping the LED would be a little bit stronger, so that it would light up the vampire a bit more.

    • @Nikita_Brus
      @Nikita_Brus ปีที่แล้ว

      youd always be looking at the piece or photographing it in lit conditions (in order to see everything). If you looked at it in the dark the warm glow would be much more prominent, but then you wont see much. So youd have to paint in the lighting to be brighter. Painting the warm light on a lot more of the body and the face.

    Your videos are always a treat, I love the perspective trickery... even knowing that you used false perspective I was completely fooled the moment the clay went down. The whole project has so much ambiance you can feel the cold night blowing in from that window. Absolutely fantastic.

    Amazing work as always, I love all the different mediums at play. The forced perspective is very convincing! For the dice/book box, you could add a ribbon to the bottom to help with getting the books out.

    Holy shit that effect's SO cool😮🤯😍 and your sculpting skills are impressive! I've never understood how it's actually possible to do any fine work on either green stuff or milliput... I can handle well only plasticine and polymer clay so far

    • @atelier_AG
      @atelier_AG  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much! It takes a bit more time to get used to epoxy clays, since you have to work in the time that it sets, but definitely worth the effort!

  • @klug5916
    @klug5916 ปีที่แล้ว

    I will point the 2 main problems of this very patient and skillful work.
    First, it looks like it's a random adventurer walink in a castle, not a vampire lurking and wandering in the castle. I think the pose is the problem, with the lantern and the blade.
    Second, the fact is too dark, especially for a vampire, and that comes from the fur collar, which is white. A dark color, like a red, or kingly blue or deep green would have contrast way more better with a very pale skin, making it almost glowing in the dark, which is totally a vampiric effect.
    I hope that my critic don't bring down an incredible detailed work. Thank you for sharing it!
