You guys are making me nervous with your dinghy. You gotta lash her down, Captain. You might even want to think about deflating her for an added measure. Be safe!
Aye mateys! Just a comment on the tune in the first half of this episode. There's another sailing channel using it as vignette music: Learning the Lines (th-cam.com/channels/sVjvlRBIbWVTFtQXemzXqA.html). Not that it's wrong, just might be some miss understanding…
We appreciate every bit of help whether it's a like, useful/encouraging comments or a share. Nobody has to feel guilty for not financially supporting us, it's just an option
Man, back to basics. Speed doesn't count. Port tack gives way to starboard tack (wind from port side (left) gives way). With same tack, broad reach gives way to close reach (if you are closer to the wind you have right of way). Motor gives way to sail unless high tonnage (over 500 I believe) or sailing between buoys or in a canal. Anyway, back to sailing 😉
@@WildlingSailing You were quite right. You had right of way (actually 'stand on vessel - no such thing as right of way at sea) for two reasons a. he was in your red sector forward of your beam, and two he could arguably be described as an overtaking vessel (though I wouldn't want to argue that in a court). It is his responsibility to keep clear. He would have been more seaman like to pass astern of you, but he was well clear. BTW - unless you're going down wind the wind doesn't 'push' the sails, it pulls them. Think of them as vertical airplane wings.
I ordered your sweatshirt! So excited to get it soon. 🤗
Top job guys you are making it look effortless now 😀🇮🇹
Haha, We still keep learning little things that we can't believe we didn't already know

Haha I was crouched over, you know I have really big muscles under the shirt
Don’t care for the t-shirt or ebegging. Great video & beautiful scenery.

Don’t bother to watch then and we don’t have to experience your negativity.
That reply obviously directed at MyRCComedy

I said he's not sailing so he needs to move out for us, we weren't going to change course. I would have happily ploghed into his side hahaha
Methinks you need to go back to basics. Quite a few non existent rules in your post - none of which applied to the situation in the video. @tip001
