- The recruitment of teachers in Himachal Pradesh University has come under question. The appointment of two professors has been cancelled by the High Court. Meanwhile, the student organization SFI has accused former VC Sikandar Kumar of appointing people from RSS and BJP even though these teachers do not fulfill the eligibility criteria. SFI has termed the recruitment of about 200 teachers as against the rules and has demanded a judicial inquiry. SFI also put the Congress government in the dock and said that the government is not getting the recruitment done in the university investigated.
