Fun story. I returned back to east coast from Edmonton. Still had all the hair and leathers.. Buddy told me these guys were playing The Ebb Tide. 1991 maybe? Sat at the bar. Got a beer. 25 cents. Girl said sound crew quarter a drink. hehe... These guys drank per par with me. A buck got us all a full round. During a piss break guitar player "RIP". Thanked me knowing i was just a local metal head. Invited me for the after hour party. These Guys. These guys are very mellow and easy to hang with. I drank with all the big boys back then. BB King, Maiden, Teenage Head, Helix and few others. Very easy to sit and chill exchanging memories.
Helix was my favorite band in the mid 80's... I listened to the "No Rest for the Wicked Album" cassette every night... There wasn't a night I didn't listen to it until the tape ran out... . I still remember their cover with a "tired demon in a nightgown"... I liked the beginning of the album with "Does a Fool Ever Learn"... and the song "Heavy Metal Love"... live I see that they are very good . ...it comes out "traced" from my favorite song... I only regret that they never came to Chile... as if Slayer, Bon Jovi, Guns, Metallica, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Kreator, Stratovarius, Nigthwish, Carcass already came , Testament, Cannibal Corpse, Exodus, Helloween, Hammerfall, ManoWar, Megadeth, Kiss, Judas, Accept, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Death Angel, Mercyful Fate, Iron Maiden, Arch Enemy, Immortal, Amon Amarth, Deathstar, Destruction, Possessed and a long etc. they have achieved it. ...
Music starts at 2:45. Drum solo intro should be a separate video. As it is nobody is going to add it to a playlist, so if play is what you want, it needs edited in half. Great band though.
I sure was hoping for a live version for my playlist, but the loud sound effect at the start ruins it. And good long drum solo, but to hear it over and over on a playlist? Need some editing shorter if this band is going to get played and shared. Mighty rockin band though, wow.

Fantastic version of a great old song ,Great job guys !!!!
Helix does not get the credit they deserve for producing some very good rock in the 80s, good group of Canadian boys for sure.
Man! Glad these bastards are still rocking! Often thought of them, great band!

f you douche bag!!!!go back to your country trash loser!!!
starts at 2:35 the song!!!enjoy, still sounding great all these years later!!!
My idea of a great cover is from the first note of the opening riff you recognize the song immediately!

RIP FRITZ
Thanks for the tight shot. I wanted to know how stupid those goggles on his hat looked up close.
