Thanks for the video, made for a quick update to my aging 4200. Sucks they stopped supporting and updating the firmware after 2018, but least it beats the stock nissans headunit.
The brake bypass was the only reason I was able to update lol installed a pioneer AVH-4200NEX on a old 94 Toyota pick up and I could use Bluetooth settings where limited so I bypassed it and was able to update it. I was in version 1.05 now I’m on 1.07
I found an appropriately sized Nissan logo on the internet that I liked. I then downloaded it to a thumb drive. I plugged the thumb drive into the head unit. I then went to the radio's wallpaper menu and selected the image from the thumb drive. That's it 👍🏾. Good luck.
You can play music via Bluetooth with plugging in the phone, but Android Auto is a wired connection. This is now a dated model, in 2023 I would not purchase this model.

What did the firmware updates change?
Most of the updates are security and stability updates. They are necessary especially if you use Android auto and Apple car play.
Does thie model support wireless connection (bluetooth) to enable Android Auto?
