Especially after those cool videos of ancient cpu's that you keep doing, my opinion has now been cemented. Max CPU first and then next year or 2 max GPU.
I have an r9 3900x, not great for gaming however I feel that at 4k and 1440p, it won't matter much. I want to upgrade my gpu, I'm still on a 1080, looking at a 4070 ti
brother, I don't need just the cpu, I need a whole new thing. my 2016 lenovo laptop that only had the ssd changed twice is a fire hazard and a complete wreck.
I sold my 7800x3d, gigabyte 4080 super, gigabyte x670e aorus pro, arctic freezer iii 420mm, 64gb g skill 6400 cl32, superflower 1300w in the white o11 evo XL... So yes I need new CPU and a new PC
@@nverend4450 because of GPU depreciation. With the new generation coming I was able to sell it almost at the same price I paid. Now just waiting for the new stuff to come to rebuild
Merry Xmas!!!
Welcome back mate!
Well, like yes...I am slowly buliding my new future build.

What they need to provide are 9600x3d and 9700x3d chips. Everyone is piling onto the 9800x3d and ignoring most other chips.
i bought a prebuilt solely just to get the 9800x3d that was inside it.
Imma say no, I’m happy with the input lag from frame gen for near double the frame rate
6700k here and i think i need new cpu
at this point just wait for the 9950x3d lol
I got ultra lucky a few days ago i walked into my local micro center they had to have at least 12+ 9800x3d so i went ahead and bought one
you are ultra lucky you have microcenter at your country xd
Not true, the 9800X3D are plentiful in Microcenters in the US, I just picked one up this past week. ;)
Unfortunately, not everyone lives next to one, so it isnt really an option unless they are willing to drive.
No MC in EU.
@@vaasdaas9587 Yeah I'm aware, US based only company.
If your playing at 4K, you don’t need a beefy X3D CPU
no one needs a beefy x3d cpu its more of a want situation.
@ I own a X3D chip, swapped back to the 7700X bc X3D lags and hitches while using windows.
after watching this and many others like it, ill stick with my 14900k running 5.9 all core

Why have you sold it?
Your build is good and last for years why would you sell

I5 12400 bclk OC to 5ghz the way to go.
Yes, I have a 8600K. I need a new CPU (and motherboard+RAM). And of course I will buy AMD. They are simply better value currently.
