I have an old Dinomist Deck that I retooled for this event. All the scales give targeting and destruction protection, the continuous spell + trap make for a deadly advantage engine that compulses each turn. I maxed out Limiter Removal and Fury of Kai-Ryushin to lay down the hurt. Breezed through the event 3-0.

Don't count for Komoney to give more than 1 pack... Or you forgot of Mr. 20 + 24 gems as a celebration, when it could easily be 20 packs, is a 25th anniversary for Slife sake
Droll here won't do much thou (Unless facing something like Pend magician... oh boy they can play under Drain very well), and can relate to the pain of normal summon Archfiend Emperor while having 2 monsters to tribute... Closest thing to Beatdown turbo was Earth machine not worrying to send 2 to attack (Feat Shaddoll of all things... lost that but was entertaining)
Unchained here, 3 - 0 wasn't enough, so went deep ino this, as more than half of negates & floodgates comes from monsters themselves... 40 duels later, and after facing Atem himself (2 3k monsters, 2k LP left, opponent had 1 card set cause I destroyed everything before, yet managed to draw Mahad, and Aruha destroyed my own Drain... GG) retired from an unexpected fun event
indeed, skill drain isn't that big of a problem if you know it's coming and you prepared for it
