I took the 30th anniversary special edition CBR1000RRR SP out for a day around Zurich. Absolutely fantastic bike, especially over 7k rpm when the exhaust valve opens. However, under 7k rpm it was quieter than the R6 but overall it handled just as well. It was so long geared, you only ever needed 1st gear.
I seen the new one at eicma, it looks absolutely amazing (and the 600rr) and they've shortened the gearing again so hopefully it'll be better on the road as well as the track. However at the price this bike will sell at, it's hard to justify over any of the European bikes.

Honda has always been a great bike, However the FireBlade was stagnated for many years making the least Power outputs. I personally was considering one however i found that the breaks were not the best incomparable with the M1000RR. Bike also has an eye watering price, it's hard to justify paying that for an inline HONDA,
If they came with a new V5 Cylinder 1100 similar to their older (RC211V 990CC gp bike) It would be an be incredible bike, I would pay all what they ask for it. HRC have done that years ago and developed a 990CC V5 Engine built with their GP technology. It had more than 220 BHP at the wheel.

1992 was the first year not 98.
