Tip from me, use defense reduction talismans with omnyo magic, have wind as a natural infusion (you can reforge items at the blacksmith to change their natural abilities, and one of them is the wind element, its basically gambling if you get it or not but if u do its op.) and then also apply the damage reduction talisman. They'll hit you for fuck all, and you'll hit them super hard. AND DONT MISS OUT ON BACK SHOTS. Also, on the kusarigama the abilities aren't actually that great, just spamming top stance r1 is honestly ur best damaging option. Also, kill the bloody grave revenants more. You can sell their items for money, amrita or dismantle them for materials. I've gotten like 800,000 amrita by just dumping them out of my inventory. Its lowkey overpowered ngl, and for the dlc thats upcoming (if you have it) the first boss YOU NEVER WANT TO BE INFRONT OF, the next one is basically just a regular guy but he has some snipers helpin and the 3rd guy is just "run away, wait for the grab attack, dodge and punish" and when he out of stam u hit the hard punishes. Otherwise, you just keep runnin. The second dlc is honestly really hard, and you need to lock in to win. Once again my best advice is to get behind them and spam r1 for the win, the second boss you need to be mixin it up by goin behind him and also running away if he does the aoe moves.
Im not spoilin the 3rd dlc, just take my advice if you wanna have better odds. Oh and of course get the iga jonin set (ALL OF IT) and use it, the final boost it gives is honestly op. Its literally the most overpowered armor set by far because of it. Get a decent amount of spirit, health and ki dont matter too much (like 30 in health and 20 in ki is fine) get basic requirements for the iga jonin armor set, then get like 25 spirit and dump the rest in ninjutsu and watch the damage numbers skyrocket. Sorry for yappin, also the way u get the iga jonin set is by defeating him in a dojo mission (way of the ninja adept i think?) so from the top
1. reforge
2. get bat spirit and tiger spirit, they op
3. use iga jonin set
4. use omnyo magic debuffs (the buffs are ok)
5. Profit

@@BeenHoly You can change equipment looks at the blacksmith. So you can change things to look the coolest but keep the effects! The blacksmith does gods work, make sure to utilize tempering. I can explain it easily
You go to reforge
Press the button that says tempering (look at the bottom of the screen, you dont need to click on an item for it, but u do need to be in the reforge menu where u select the item u want to reforge)
pick an option
profit.
You get a choice to pick whats good, the 3 best ones are elemental, ki damage and ki reduction. Elemental lets u infuse shit with an elemental buff making it build status easily, ki damage makes every hit inflict ki damage (mid and low stance will break guards now) and ki reduction makes all your attacks and dodges use less ki. Its best to use the book of reincarnation and keep your health at 30, ki at 20, spirit at like 23 and have the minimum stat requirements for the iga jonin set. And then run all dexterity. It'll super charge ur damage.
Sorry for yappin, tryna help you out since I didn't know these things and had to do testing myself to figure out how damage scaling actually works.
@@BeenHoly oh right one more thing, I play on ps4 as well and use control scheme E, which makes ur attacks be r1 and r2, block be Square and dodge being X, which for me was alot easier to run since it felt more like dark souls combat. Just a me thing tho, if u run different things you could see if its easier.
@@BeenHoly oh and 1 more thing, the Nue fight (lightning bitch) gets staggered if u hit him on the head during his lightning beam attack, he loses all his ki and since he does it so often (and u can hug his face, all his shit whiffs except the lightning bolts) he's made a cake walk. You got the other 2 down and I already gave tips for the spider. The oda nobunaga guy is staggerable, so he's not that bad (just stagger him, go behind and give him those backshots and keep movin) kelley is... its kelly, imma be real he so easy. And final boss is just mid. Other than that, bosses like the ice bitch are countered by getting up close and personal, since she only has 1 move that goes through blocks and hits behind her (so just keep the aggression but stay out of her way, you wanna be close but not in her sightline and focus on blocking the ice projectiles and dodging at the same time, big skeleton is cheesed by spamming enku who is from a mini-boss in a side mission and is ridiculously overpowered against anything weak to fire or just anything big in general. Umi-bozo (fuck that guy) dies in 15 seconds if u spam enku, the dlc fights are easier by doing it for the boss (not all of them, use that strategy to make it easier)
1st boss: Stay behind him and keep the block up, dont try and run. He will catch ur ass if you do, punish him after he does an attack, and try and if he does the like 5 wide sweep u need to run a lil to stay behind him.
2nd boss: Fight revenants and he instantly becomes easy
3rd boss: this boy kicks ass, you need to stay away, wait for the grab, dodge it and punish with top stance r1's (if you can get more than 1 chain) his second phase grants him elemental damage in wind form (you dont wanna get the wind debuff) and in the other part he gets ranged attacks, meaning u need to run alot and only punish the grab attack
bloodborne reference: use sword with the triple swing that moves u around and just spam it when you get an opening, it counters her moves pretty well since it moves u to the side and behind her (just do it infront of her and not at a distance or you whiff)
thats just dlc 1, which I struggled with. Dlc 2 is honestly way easier, with the first guy being a fuckin beast who is incredibly fast, your best bet is to just rely on living weapon and anything that staggers (DONT GET GRABBED BY HIM, YOU WILL LOSE LIVING WEAPON AND HE LIKES TO DO IT WHEN YOU USE IT, SO DONT SPAM.) and the second guy just falls if you do these things, run to stairs, get him to follow, jump off, hit him while he falls off (his ai will jump down after you) and get a free knockdown. Rinse repeat until dead, if he switches it up just run away and chuck some kunai, he has gun shots so u need to not stand still too much or u take chip damage. Its a long explanation, but it'll save u the time. (He does 2500 damage per swing and has massive range, you will thank me later. The one you'll hate in the 3rd dlc I have no advice for and you'll see why.)
Dlc 3 is another can of worms, its a whole big amount of "I just used living weapon with a cocktail of buffs and it died in seconds" and thats my only real advice. Big bird is cheesed by using the massive bomb u can get from ninjutsu paired with storm kunai when u run out (best advice I got, it has alot of damage and alot of range.) 2nd guy I think is a bullshit fight you'll hate (godskin duo but 300x worse.) and the 3rd fight is just a hard fight that I cheesed so I have 0 advice for you on that one other than good luck. 4th fight is just the same situation of "good luck, I used an op build to disintegrate the health bar and cheesed the fight"
oh yeah, if you use an amrita shard (spirit stones) during living weapon, it fills the bar back up. Letting you take more hits and deal more damage. You should by this point have a shit ton of them, so you can in a pinch use living weapon, attack like 3 times, use a stone, rinse repeat until you run out.
Sorry for yapping, wanted to give advice on how to handle the dlc bosses in more detail so you know the strategy, saw u lookin at guides and I assume they weren't clear on how to avoid them. I can't describe all the attacks and stuff but it should work for the most part. Oh and yeah, USE TOP STANCE WITH THE KUSARIGAMA, MID STANCE IS ASS.
