I've never seen a French cleat attached that way. I will keep that in mind for sure. Also, with the dovetail on the French cleat, it locks the piece in the opposite direction of the frame's dovetails. Very cool

единственное, я не понимаю, почему автор не пользуется рейсмусом и разметочным ножом. Также можно посоветовать магнитное стусло для ласточкиных хвостов.
Спасибо! конечно я пользуюсь и ножом разметочным и рейсмусом, просто не всегда удобно по дубу по диагонали ножом размечать - уводит)) а рейсмусом в данном случае неудобно потому, что проушины на разном уровне. Вот)) а вообще обожаю классику)
Юрий, берегите руки! Не работайте на циркулярке в перчатках, это очень опасно!

Я с ближних мельниц вообще (Малиновский) в 8й школе учился;) А на поскот езжу иногда за шаурмой "шаурма мама" правда не знаю как сейчас работают ли, с начала войны не был. А так то самая вкусная шаурма в Одессе)))
@@gr_woodworking Самая вкусная шаурма в Одессе - на преображенской, все остальное - альтернатива и не более. Я в нулевых на Бреуса жил в девятине где наталка была, а работал на гайдара. С начала войны на дачу перебрался возле южного.

Тільки зараз зрозумів де я бачив подібні станки. Впізнав фуганок який бачив на OLX і цирулярку, ну а рукавиці і навушники підтвердили. Шкода шо продаєте, надіюсь шо вдосконалюєте інструмент а не зав'язуєте з столяркою. Маєте смак! Бажаю успіхів.

It is not always convenient for me to use pushers, especially on heavy boards, and it is more convenient for me to cut them with just my hand.
@@gr_woodworking I believe he is refering to the danger of kickbacks when not using a fence on 1:00. Not using push sticks for such a large piece is absolutely fine. Not using the fence though, can indeed be dangerous.
But hey - really exellent and inspiring work. I thoroughly enjoyed both the build and the way you edit end present your work.
