RC Plane - High Wind Canyon Flying (E-flite Maule onboard POV)

The wind was blowing 13mph sustained with gusts of 23mph…we decided to strap a GoPro in the E-flite Maule and send er up into the tumultuous skies. We start off with an abrupt full power take off to get over the high bushes off the left wing, then I dip into the canyon and fly up the middle straight into the wind. The Maule on a 4s lipo has plenty of power to get it through the wind and with the optional safe select off, it has plenty of control surface authority to keep it in a safe attitude.
