As usual, superb video. I followed another one yesterday to do same thing you explained here. It was more a "type this" and "type that". They didn't explained where those commands come from. Your videos are always easy to follow as you don't skip any steps and show it all. Anyone who haven't checked the Official GNS3 Certified Associate course, give it a look, it worth it. 68 hours on all kind of technical subjects. Almost all the David Bombal videos in one place for a really good price. Thanks again David. Keep it up.
Many thanks David !! I finally added images and got EVE-NG working for the first time ever !! Your video was so clear and I got it right first time of asking. Again many thanks.
Great content! Thank you very much David. I was always a little intimidated by EVE-NG thinking that there was a lot of setup to do. But you showed it in a very clear and organized approach and now I have got EVE-NG up and running on my laptop. Will keep following your channel.
Mr David Bombal God bless you sir you are an inspiration to our generation. This is my first time using Eve-ng and I was able to follow your steps and it works perfectly on my personal computer.
Thank you very much David, you teach very well, I bought ccna labs in Udemy, I passed the exam on the first attempt, now that I learned to use EVE it will help me for the following certifications, blessings from Peru, I am waiting for your next videos.
I think some people can be intimated by the Linux command line setups but you literally documented every single step to make it as user friendly as possible. Another great video, David! Would be cool if you could do something as clear as this for Arista images! Whilst l love my VIRL images, I understand some people can't justify the price for a license. For those people I think Arista is a great alternative to get started with! I think people will be surprised how almost identical the commands are to Cisco’s and that they can easily practice their routing and switching with Arista on EVE-NG or GNS3 with no cost barrier :)
Thank you very much Mr. David for the simple step by step. I followed your steps and all is working fine. Please upload video on how to add Cisco VoIP on EVE-NG.
Your videos have been of great importance to my professional and personal life, I believe that for many other Brazilians too, there is not much content about networks here, thank you so much! All the best! S2
Many thanks David for the effort you put in here and indeed the quality in terms of the production. Easy to follow and setup. Using it for new CCIE Enterprise.....
Why cant EVE team make this a simple process? This looked like a whole different skill you should earn and that too just to set up a lab. Hopefully, more easier user friendly lab apps come out in near future. Best one stays and that's the rule..Thanks David for making it this simple though :)
Thank you Madara. You speak very kind words. However, I am just a normal person like you :) I appreciate your support and thank you for watching my videos.
Thank you, David, a pretty good amount of manual configuration for EVE-NG, but as you mention, this is for the community edition, so I am kind of used to it when it comes to free or open-source software. Later on, it improves. Looking forward to seeing a bit more of the good or advantages over GNS3 other than it is built on top of Linux. Until next time.
@@davidbombal EVE-NG choose to 'force' cli usage because it is a good path to learn basics linux commands and to give user ability to freely add 'undocumented' images later... Using custom templates..... As said, it seems very hard when starting using eve but after a bunch of image upload, this process become clear... The video is showing very clearly the reference table with naming convention to create directories , use the right image name..... Everything is difficult before becoming simple..... ;-)
Hi David, After seeing your video I have installed EVE-Ng along with Router, Sw, FW, Windows7 and found my PC has been very low space. How can I deleted the installed files? Lets see, I need to delete windows7 and vASA. Where is the directory ? I have not found the specific path to deleted unwanted nodes. please help me.

Looks like things have changed on the VIRL site, so these instructions no longer work. I'm looking for how you get the VIRL images down and will update this if I do. Update: After clicking the download button in your Cisco Learning Network account page, you'll be brought to the Cisco software download page. You'll only see the CML downloads, so click "Expand all" and you'll see the VIRL images at the bottom of the list to the left.
