I owned one immediately after they came out in 1980 and the hesitation was rectified using 93 octane fuel (93 was actually a thing back then). The bike ran amazing and i never had a problem with it. The only thing about the bike I wanted to change but never did were the handle bars. I always thought they needed to be more straight and pulled back a few inches for comfort and style. I stumbled upon this video this morning and I almost wept watching it. Bright back memory of my 18 yo self. Good bless you for showing us that beauty!
I don't even care for this type of bike but I find myself always watching anyways. LOL...Po Pos coming to get you. Wow ,what a beautiful building. I live 2 hours from Daytona....Im only in shorts no shirt or shoes right now enjoying the outdoors.....need a bike.
Nice I owned a 1975 Z1B 900 with a 1015 kit was an awesome bike I sold it a few years ago to a company that restores these types of bikes and sends them to Japan
Sir, my husband has this motorcycle, his brother bought it new and handed it down to him, he can't remember if it came with a center kickstand...would you happen to know if they did, and if one can be put on it and direct us as to where one could be purchased..23,000 miles on it as of today..Thank you....
look under the bike, if it has the round catches for the center stand, any z bike's stand should fit with the proper pinch bolts and bushing installed, and the return spring. I believe Kawasaki did not install one from the factory as this classic G-1 has unique exhaust pipes that may hinder the centerstands return, making it too low and hitting when leaned over.
