The T3 ore extractor is the one that lets you select which ore specifically is extracted. This game will give you what you want, but it will make you earn it first. The shredder will let you destroy excess ores as if you don't remove the old ores then the ore extractors will fill up with junk and no new ores will get mined. I got in the habit of building a shredder next to each of my ore extractors. The T1 can extract in addition to the basic resources: aluminum, iridium, and sulfur. There is a place to mine super alloy with a T2 but you have to find it first. The gap you saw was a graphical illusion. You can see these sometimes and they mark areas that change with terraforming. For example one might see a waterfall in the distance but as you get closer it turns to ice. That ice will melt and make a waterfall later and the game gets confused sometimes as to what it is supposed to be displaying at a distance. Zeolite is a resource that spawns later in the terraforming process. At your current stage that strange area and chest are the only sources of it. The wardens key is the start of a major "quest line". Coordinates in one of Reilly messages will lead you to the mushroom biome, you probably just forgot about it. The coordinates you are currently at are displayed under your O2 meter. You can follow the coordinates on the warden's pedestals to lead you to the next stage of the story. Just bring extra O2, food, and water as you can get in some fairly large special locations when doing the "quest line". By the way I have a warning. I saw another youtuber get into a serious bug. They had a habit of constructing a living compartment refilling oxygen and then removing it so they could rebuild it further along and repeat. Well they died far from any living compartment and respawned in the last indoor location they were in, a living compartment which they had earlier removed and now was outdoor. With little oxygen on respawn they quickly died again, repeat about 9 more times and they finally got enough resources to rebuild a new living compartment. So it can be dangerous to remove a living compartment without a plan to get to another one. I have not seen you doing it, but I thought I would mention it as the consequences are quite severe and a little bit hilarious.
Thank you again for your advise! I didn't realize that the T1 Extractor could get aluminum and the others I'll have to make sure to take note of that and build some more. Especially now that I'm building T4 Heaters. Need to make some more rockets too. I will make sure to utilize that shredder machine. I had another person mention the fact that I never seem to fully empty the extractor, and thus not allowing for more Iron collection. The shredder machine would help with that. Ya I'm excited to explore the wardens quest love that kind of plot. Also thank you for that warning! I had no idea that would happen. I haven't done that I don't think in this playthrough, but I think I might have done it in my Humble playthrough or I did recently start a new Prime world series where I was doing that a lot. Good to know that is for sure! Thanks again Dusk and I appreciate you following along!
