This is so cool! I've been watching your videos from the beginning over quarantine and I was so excited to get to the Peru ones, because I did a service learning program there in college! I lived in Urubamba and worked in most of the communities you've visited! And in Umasbamba too, I painted a few of those murals in that school!

Watching these videos a few years after the fact (post-Covid) wandering what has become of small villages like this without the tourism and travel industry... Makes me incredibly sad.
Wow! So cool about the solders protecting the women that have to feed on those ..... he didnt say the name but looks like bark or some type of dried herb so that they do not have sexual desire so the women were safe with them. Very interesting. Thanks for the education Kara and Nate!
