@@rob5598those interior lines were designed in 1992/1993 and put in the cars in 1994 the sn95 came out in 94 and in 96 the 4.6 motor came about same inside outside from 94 in 99 same interior still but the outside changed to this style in the video called the new edge
A lot of people put down the 2 valve but they can run great with the right mods! I put a vortech supercharger on my 99 GT and of course it's never enough power so I changed to a smaller pulley and bigger injectors and along with full length headers and off road h pipe and im a big fan of flowmaster mufflers but anyway I was making a little over 500 at the wheels and that was with the stock bottom end and I went with 3.73 gears so I would be in the boost more and I'm glad I didn't go with 4.10 or I would of had to shift into 5th in the 1/4 mile but with nitto drag radials which I would still spin like crazy but I run in the low 12s and if I would run slicks I could break into the 11s. I installed a center force duel friction clutch to handle the power and all the little things like short throw shifter and some other goodies. If it ever blows up then that will just be a great time to put all forged internals and maybe add a 100 shot of nitrous

Its not that hard to get these cars to run people used to do it all the time back in the 2000s now all the sudden ppl act like fast 2vs dont exist lol. No u cant make huge power on a stock bottom end (but u can easily go past 400 rwhp reliably if you have a good tune and plenty of fuel etc) but forged rods and pistons and you can make some damn good power out of em with a power adder. They dont even do bad na to be only 4.6 liters when theyre done right but with boost they can be nasty. For some reason people think u cant make a 2v fast lol. Forged rods and pistons dont cost that much...if you do the work yourself itd be even less obviously. You can get these cars for 4-5k in good shape..they sound and look sexy also.

All you really need to be able to push it beyond that motor wise is rods and pistons...both can be had forged under 1500 bucks. It does cost some money for sure but it isnt that bad considering the results and the fact that the cars themselves can be had for pretty good prices these days. I have faith in the old 2vs you just gotta learn what makes em tick and the best mods to do for the money. Rods, pistons, on3 turbo kit with supporting mods and you can really boogie. The only way to enjoy these cars is to get behind the wheel dont go off what other people say or by how low the HP is you will be fooled, once you drive them you will see why everyone loves them its a great experience its quick its strong and light weight you will have fun trust me

It can be done without dumping 20 grand in it like some thing u have to. 2v is a great platform for goin fast on a budget (u can find nice stock cars for 4-5k easy...which makes them a better deal than foxes imo which are continuing to go up to higher prices)

I'm more a manual guy myself never owned an auto but the 4r70 def has potential maybe someone else can chime in with more specifics. A 6r80 is also a good option.
What blow off valve is he running? Turbo keeps fluttering so I am assuming no BOV but just wondering. And when does the turbo spool, because I have a 70mm from on3 and it seems to spool around the same time.

It has a teksid block with fully ported heads with 5 angle job and oversize valvesz pac high rom Todd Warren spec springs and Todd Warren cams turbo. Elderbrock intake fully ported. Was cut in half to port and welded. 75 mm throttle and sheet metal elbow. Custom turbo kit with huge intercooler 76mm turbonectics ball bearing turbo. Fully built promotion t-45 with mcloed twin disk 26 spline. Aluminum driveshaft with fully built rear with 3.73 gears. Trz full rear suspension coilovers with re located uppers. Team z front with all Viking coilovers and shocks and struts. I’m hoping to push 750 rwhp with this setup. Your car sounds real good. What’s your setup?
I figured it was. My buddy went through a few stock 2v engine's then he threw a Mark viii 4v in it. I don't think he even hit 500 with either of the 2v engine's. He had a decent map in it were the power came in after peak torque to try and make it work but it didn't.

Building stock trans is the way to go...it dont cost that much and is more budget friendly than getting a new t56 magnum or something like that...even the aftermarket 5 speeds cost a decent chunk. I like the tr3650s they was the best 5 speed ever put into a stock mustang imo. The 95 r had a tremec 3550 but theyre known for being super notchy and harder to shift. Id def build the stock trans. Gforce can hook u up for under 2k for a wicked trans im pretty sure aint checked pricing in a good while

Nah bro the turbo itself acts as a muffler sort of...you can run open downpipes (straight exhaust) and it sounds like an na car with catless exhaust and mufflers on it...volume wise...because the turbo(s) actually act as a sort of muffler for the exhaust. You can run it completely open and be tolerable and not draw any more attention than your typical mustang with a full aftermarket exhaust (na)

I can tell you how to almost instantly double the value of that Mustang, put gas in it, if you want to Triple the value of the Mustang put gas on it!
