Thanks for the review, learned a lot. That sight level is DOPE, wish I had that during my set up ....... I got mine back in Aug for my RX5 ultra, setup was a pain but haven't had to touch it sense. Great sight and worth the wait

when sighting in the three pin sight, which pin and pointer do you use to set your marks? Struggling to get sight tapes to match

i am interested in getting a new sight and I am between this new XP and the Landslyde. I will be using the sight primarily for hunting. Is there a reason to get one over the other?

If you buy the direct mount can u then buy the carbon dovetail later and change up and swap the sight over to the dovetail? Just curious because my local shop has a few direct mount but none with the carbon bar
How much does this sight weigh vs the carbon bar version? Is this worth the $440 at Cabelas? How is it vs the blackgold that has full adjustability?
Any idea if the landslyde picatinny slider sight with avx 41 scope with .019 ranger pins is ambidextrous?

second axis is a PITA to adjust (much better / easier to do with the Accutouch), the quick move feature is IMO gimmick as the wheel is fast enough, the cheap purple / blueish sight lights won't work properly when fitted into the shaft (IMP an awkward location as too much light gets absorbed before it reaches the fibers - someone has a better solution for this, e.g. using white light? ), nevertheless still a fantastic sight - having 2 pointers instead of one allows so many more options to set it up, the fine adjustment of the pins works great and is soooooo precise.
Between the direct mount and the dovetail, do you know which would allow you to mount the scope closest to the riser?
Would you personally get this over a black gold pro sight?
something else to mention: the metal tapes that come with the sight is not a complete kit, at least that was the case with mine, and the limited number (8 metal tapes, with scales on both sides so 16 scales) matches the spec of the package as outlined on the LAS website...so if you are unlucky and your speed is not covered you may have to play around to adjust your speed or order the specific tape (I think you can't order single tapes so you would have to buy the whole kit which is pretty stupid if you already have 8 of those metal tapes....)
Tip for guys: your wife’s nail polish is a good loctite for things that may need to come off eventually.

Great review . Would you happen to know the weights of the direct mount vs Carbon pro in 3 pin ???
I only have the carbon pro where you need an additional bracket for the dove tail, so my guess is that the carbon pro is actual slightly heavier. More important than this is IMO the weight balance as you can run the carbon pro much more further out (I don't agree with JJ on this one 😁 - for me running it further out increases my accuracy and allows me to fine tune the peep view) so it has a similar impact as a stabilizer... I wouldn't make the decision which one to buy based on a few grains difference.

I have a Hogg father and love it but I want to lighten my bow up a bit. The landslyde is roughly half the weight of mine. Probably not as durable.either though, I've had one on back order now for 2 months
