Fantastic walk through on the fuel pump. You were much more judicious with your swearing than I would've been, all the f-bombs all day long for how much crap KTM crammed inside the body and frame of these bikes.
Hey Zombie thanks for the Vid, and due respect for your tenacity. I'd like your opinion on whether or not you think a new buyer of this bike should flush dust and other manufacturing debris from the fuel tank as soon as they get their new bike home. So I guess I'm asking do you think some of the gunk in the tank may have been from dirty factory practices? Cheers
Bloody oath. Not to mention your oil filter screens (multiple) as soon as possible, the amount of silicon in mine at first service was a joke. Im still going to say, worst KTM ever made. Im back on a DRZ now.
So, my bike is not running after fitting my fuel x lite on my 390. It ran for a few seconds and then quit and now I can't crank it at all. I removed the fuel x to put back to stock, but still cannot get it to run. :( Where are those fuel hose nipples that you speak of?
That box by the horn, it might be the attitude sencer? For cornering abs. I know when i remove it then put it back i got an ecu fail. Pain in the but.
Awesome video. Any idea if the ktm 390 adventure and the 390 duke share the same pump?
Appreciate the video

Just typical aussie talking.

👍. Cheers for the vid. How’s the pump going? Where did u get the bike worked on? Where they left the plastics undone please?
Do u still have the bike?
I dont own the bike anymore, I sold it shortly after. Was not happy with that bike at all. A dealer in Maryborough.
Stupidly I just damaged my fuel pump fitting the fuel x lite, snapped one of the 2 plastic fuel hose nipples; £390 to replace! Robbery!
