Brilliant bike…got mine a year ago, DCT version, ideal for me with weak left hand, due to a nasty bike accident some 43 years ago….I returned to riding only last year…..love it, it does all I want, and I think it will be my bike for a very long time, I don’t give a damn about being ultra powerful or fast…..I am of that age, who cares…..hehe….great bike, well built and with a few extras, perfect for me…cheers guys.
Great feedback, thx. Paul who was testing the NC750X DCT did end up buying one. He already had one & I he just wanted another, however I kept saying why not try a few other bikes. Anyway he bought his 2nd NC750X & he absolutely loves it 👍
Thx for your feedback 👍. I've not seen other videos where it's explained. I will now have a more detailed search to see if I can find one. Many thanks for mentioning that 👍
Hi, I'm 5'6" with a 29" inside leg. I took a 2023 NC out for a test ride today and I could bed the balls of my feet down comfortably. The wight mass of these bikes is low so it feels lighter than it actually is.
I didn't ride it, it was Paul my friend. He absolutely loved it. So easy to ride for him. I think Paul is 5'8" so a little taller than yourself but he flat foots it easily. Paul bought one after this test ride 👍
Yes. It will allow you to drop down in gear(s) even when you’re in auto mode. You can in essence use this for engine braking. Then after a little time, once it senses the gear needs to adjust, the auto function will resume and put the bike back in what it thinks is the correct gear. Or you can just set it to manual mode and paddle shift the gears on your own.
Unusual bike test as the whole review was focused on the banter between the two of you. I didn’t learn anything much about the bike on test.
almost fell asleep
An early indicator to this 1 outa 10 review was 5secs in with heavy metal guitar from the last millennium......
You can just leave it in auto and change up and down the gears anytime you like using the flappy paddle switches.

You seem like a delightful pair of gents. Looking out for your mate along the route and all.
Thx for your feedback 👍, as my friend is much older than I am I will always look out for him
Engine braking is adjustable. I don't own a new X but watched a few videos where it was actually explained.

That car overtaking the broken down car nearly had you. Thanks for the review
Tell me about it.
Thanks for watching
My nc seems to work 2 gears lower. When i should have 4th l have 2. When i should have 6th i have 4th or 5th and the consumption is 6 liters.
I would love one of these ..
I am 5'6" would it be too high
For me?

No problem at all. The new model is shorter than the previous
These videos about DCT operation are exasperating to me because the people doing the review aren’t completely knowledgeable.
Even if you are in auto you can still down shift.
