Some of the best scale RC WWII Warbird flying I have seen. The engine sounds a lot like the three cylinder Kolm 230cc. Always a pleasure to watch an RC pilot who knows how to fly coordinated turns, with the rudder. Well done Sir! Well done. wjm 😀

Do you know what retracts and struts were used in this or any of the other TopRC FW-190’s you shot at your club? I’m considering this bird for my next project but only if there is a reliable electronic retract option and solid struts (I’m not keen on the Top RC struts nor their own retracts). Thanks
The ones I know of all have Sierra retracts, they are pretty much the only ones that hold up the large forces..they can be easily converted to electric using the proper actuator. The FW190 is an awesome bird given enough grunt , Moki 180 is about as perfect as can be 👍👍 Let us know what you decide and I can forward you the owners email for further insight 😁👍
Hello, thanks for the reply, that’s the answer I was hoping for, but yes more details on the electronic conversion of these would be very helpful. Many thanks
@@stuartwarnerc No details on a electric conversion sorry, they use the supplied air system but I image you can easily convert say using the JP actuators
This is really my dream airplane and engine. What an incredible beautiful video of a wonderful flight of a radio control airplane. Here, as a model builder, I am really happy. I have been so fed up with all those Toys R Us Styrofoam planes with electric motors and lipos that are currently engulf the market. This kind of mess is sold massively and ruins the hobby perfectly. I hope the model builder will realise what the hobby really is about and we return to the sound and the smell that really is about it.
@@WarbirdPiLOT Thx- I believe the manufacturer puts the decals on and then clear coats the plane. I’ll probably have to use some sort of solvent to remove the decals before prep

Bernard Mestre you can download the manual here www.toprcmodel.com/product/show-89.html in page 9 there is a drawing where you find the measurements of the cowl but it is around 297 mm diameter. The Valach is 310 mm wide therefore it does not fit. Sorry for the bad news.
I find the colour scheme particularly beautiful and I wonder if this is supplied from the manufacturer? I have looked on TopRC's site and can't find this wonderful schedule. Please Totto, give me the information about this!
Fabulous. I'm thinking about getting the same set-up. Currently, I run the Saito FG 90 in a TopRC Zero. How does Totto keep the engine cool in FW 190 with a totally enclosed cowl? Where does the hot air exit?
Very nice flying \ pilotage - soft, gentle, very realistic.

This 90r3 Saito is sound awesome. I have the same but it doesn’t have that deep warm sound eco. Beautiful set up. Big thump up for ya mate.

Way better than my RC Club here in the Swamps of Louisiana 🐊
Thanks so much, we are truly lucky to have such an awesome field for sure... Appreciate your praise 😁👍

Thanks, yes, he later mounted a Moki 180 in it and it was even more awesome 😁 Video is on my channel
Nice looking plane! When you repainted the plane, did you strip the old decals off or did you repaint the plane with the old decals on it?
Not my plane but i belive he just masked the markings he wanted to keep and made new ones himself.

How’s the Saito 90 holding up? Any mods necessary to make it dependable? Really looking hard at Oscar vs this Zero.
The 90 have many flights and are working perfect out of the box, just make sure good cooling with baffles and you are safe
Nice flight and amazing sound ! Which landing gear do you use ?
Yves VERSTRAETE Hi, thanks, its Sierra landinggear
Thanks !
Do you have the exact reference for Sierra Landing Gear, a friend of mine and I have ordered the FW. Thank you.
When you order just specify that you have the toprc fw and you will get the correct one 👍

what size prop mate?
24x10 carbon, about 6500 static rpm

It's a 24x10 prop and keleo ring exhaust 👍
What RLM colors did you utilize?
Not my plane so not sure, sorry
would this be a 1/5 or 1/4 scale ? I want that !
