For future reference - the easiest way to move clothes that are already on hangers is to pull a (clean!) trashbag over a bunch of them from the bottom up, elastic band it at the top, and zip tie or tape the hangers into a bundle. The bags can stack super easily in a trunk or back seat, and then when you get there all you have to do is put your bundles on the hanging rail, pull the bag off and cut the zip ties/tape. It is so, so much faster.
I’m literally crying as you say goodbye to everyone. It’s surreal to move out from your childhood home/not living with your parents. I only moved an hour away and it was still hard saying bye. I can’t even imagine being 19 hours away.

When you cried, I couldn’t help but cry too hah. I’m from CZ and just moved like 45 minutes away from my family and even seeing them just on weekends is hard for, can’t imagine what it’s like living so far away!
Packing tip! When I was moving into my uni apartment, I put all of my clothes into vacuum seal bags so they took up SO MUCH less space in the car and left more room for other things! 😊

The process of going to university in the United States is actually kind of crazy. You guys are out here leaving your house. I had to choose between two universities. And only one of them accepted me 😂. I had no absolutely no thought of moving away from home. There are two English universities in Montreal and one of them is one of the top rated university in the world. So I basically only had one option 😂. I can't imagine moving out of the province to go to school or leaving Montreal for a bachelor's degree
