If I were to see the shoe natively, I’d pass on it, but hearing your explanation made me consider it’s artistic choices in material and design and gave me a new perspective on the shoe. I love the content!

Love the aesthetic, organization and content of your channel. It almost feels like you treat your sneaker reviews like an actual art, rather than a gimmick. No judgement on people that do, but there’s something to be said about the attention, choice of B-roll and storytelling choice of your videos.

In terms of visuals, audio, and just over-all aesthetic, I get very similar vibes to the New Balance ad with Jesse Williams, which I think is wonderfully appealing. In terms of the storytelling and format of the review, I felt like I was in the experience too with these shoes. I listen to a lot of podcasts while I work, so for me, if a shoe review or content from someone I subscribe to goes "long" (but its not really a "podcast"), then Im along for the ride.

I like that you are moving location s a bit more. Your set and visuals are bomb already. Plus, getting that beautiful shoes out in some dirt was spot on. Too many reviews are just inside a studio or at someone’s kitchen table with stock footage b-roll.
Love the looks of these and have been buying quite a bit of NBs lately because they’ve been knocking it outta the park between their improving tech and fire design
I do like the OG colorway better mainly because it’s in my collection and I like orange better- different strokes right;) but resale on these is way nicer than the OG… pretty sure a lot more stock on these …I will get these eventually via trade or resale! The 2002r is crazy comfortable too! Salahe is crazy gifted, love to see where he goes from here…. Also great video, your close ups of the shoe are great, however the Bodega 990v3 is my favorite NB collab this year!

Hi Dan, I think going up half a size wouldn't hurt. For me, they fit a tiny bit more snug than some of my other New Balance sneakers.
What do you like better? SBxNB 2002R Water Be The Guide or JFGxNB 990v3 Outside Clothes? Both are about the same resale price close to $400.
I think the 990v3 is the better shoe for me.
