But that doesn't mean I gave anything up, and I still love MSFS, having played it since the Bruce Artwick days. It just means that I only get a flight in maybe once a week if I am lucky, and that is usually late at night. Looking forward to MS2024, and I hope you will reconsider, given how highly you speak of the experience MSFS gives you. Since it's a longer video, I just quickly brought up my Copilot from the sidebar and asked what the video is all about. I hope this is the correct summary: The video titled "Time to give up Microsoft Flight Simulator (here's why)!" by Philip Cole is about the creator's decision to retire from virtual flying after 29 years. In this video, he reflects on his experiences and memories with Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) and explains why he has decided to stop using it. He takes his final flight from Chicago O'Hare (KORD) to Champaign Willard (KCMI), which is significant as it represents how he began flying back in 1995. Philip Cole decided to retire from virtual flying and Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) for several reasons: Time Commitment: He mentioned that new aspects of life have come his way, and he won't have the time to commit to MSFS as he previously had. This includes being honest and supportive to others and honoring his relationships. Personal Priorities: Philip emphasized the importance of devotion and care in his life, suggesting that he needs to focus on more important parts of life beyond virtual flying. Balancing Life: He acknowledged that balancing playtime with other responsibilities is crucial, and he found it necessary to step back from MSFS to maintain that balance. These reasons reflect his desire to prioritize real-life relationships and responsibilities over his long-time hobby of virtual flying. He shares his love for being a virtual pilot and the great times he had "in the air," but also discusses what he will miss about the future of MSFS. The video is a nostalgic look back at his journey with the simulator and a farewell to a beloved hobby.
