I feel like a low sense is better for new players because it really makes aiming easier. With aiming being one if not the most important mechanic in fortnite, if a new player is able to nail headshots it's gonna feel way better and encouraged to play. Great content Ken keep it up!
Ken beans just nailed this topic on the community. I totally agree that low sense is better for beginners that need to understand how the mechanics work. And then when reaching higher level, you increase your sense to a higher one. All pros have been switching to higher sense lately.
Small correction. There may be certain pros who really up their sens but most pros are not raising their sens. They are raising their dpi in order to avoid dot skipping but 99% of them are lowering their in game to have the same overall sens

Low in game sensitivity give more micro adjustment control imo. I run low sense then adjust my dpi til it feels right. The sense and dpi you will play on is also determined by how much area you have to move your mouse.

I saw that video I think. The thing with chess AND fortnite is that you have tactics and strategy. Tactics would be things like mechanics, aim, jumping properly. Strategy is more long term (like rotations) but could also be your plan to eliminate another player. You use tactics to achieve strategic goals. Just an observation...appreciate the conversation.

Now i play 12% for x and y axis and 70% targeting and scope sensitivity for most players that is still high but it is much slower for me. So i sat in creative for 30 min and now my aim, edits and builds are allot more consistent. This video and all your other content really helps keep it up man.
Good video Ken! I always say fortnite is a shooting game as the core so if your sense is too high that you can’t hit anything…. Back it down. You want to be as fast as you can and still hit your opponent.

I just can not get used to moving my whole forearm 12 inches across my mousepad simply to turn 180 degrees on the screen. It only feels right to me to be moving my wrist a couple inches.
i've used both high and low sens. highest ive played on was 800 dpi and 14 in game sens, that eventually went down to 10 which is what i use now, but i used to play on 800 dpi 4.5 ingame sens and i used it for a while. i think high sens for me is better cause i do hit more shots and building is a lot easier

For controller you should do high sense because I’m on controller and my edits got faster and my mechanics are super fast I can do quad edit and barely see my screen from how fast it is
I really tried to switch back to expo but I couldn’t because my play-style is to much of a creative warrior’s. Maybe I’ll try again now that I have kontrol freeks.
I use 16.6% sensitivity X and Y with 1600 mouse DPI. That is an eDPI of 265.6. For more context, especially for controller players, players like Mr. Savage, who is regarded as a high sens player, uses 117 eDPI. I also use 75% ADS sens and 80% Scope sens, so not even a low Aiming in sensitivity.
for creative and having fun overall 8.0 x and y... but if i am competing i would play on 6.2 x 6.0 y, 60 ads, 60 scope, that worked best for me this season. I can keep control at all times and flick very fast when need to.

High sense on controller is the way. Let’s you put your build and edit sense as low as possible and makes you more consistent
