I literally got fast and consistent edits after like a month of constant practice and ended up quitting a few weeks after having my edits down. And I think that was my actual 1 chance at going pro, I've never been so mechanically good before at the time. Anyways, anyone out there grinding don't quit yet, most people quit right before they are about to succeed.

@@RockConsumerBSfocus on polling rate of the keyboard . I’ve been on a similar search and found my k70 8k polling rate. Beyond responsive. The next up would mostly like be the Apex pro TKL/ wooting for the rapid trigger technically . new companies are adapting it. the keyboard i have has extremely quick activation but technically rapid trigger would be the best option ! hopefully that helps
@@RockConsumerBS apex pro you will get delivered faster and keyboard is a big factor to your editing speed I've played on the same 20$ keyboard for a month now and i notice its holding me back but yet its better than my 100$ ducky one 2 mini, I'm definitely getting the apex pro tkl sometime. also the wooting 60he and apex pro tkl have very minimal difference in speed, wooting you will have to wait a couple weeks to get but you can get the apex pro tkl in less than 2 days
I liked the crosshair placement part, esp. when slowed down. It is too fast to see all the detail at normal speed, what would be great would be a slowed down vid with crosshair placement hints when going through multiple builds/edits. Cool vid dude😀😀

This is the #1 thing holding me back from becoming a good editor. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this issue or drills I can use to prevent this from happening?

i cant play on low sens, i used to play skill games with high sens everytime, its so uncomfy when i have to move my mouse a lot.. i use 1600 dpi and 10sens
Theres a another problem tho. When i place a cone, and then switch to a wall whilst still looking at the cone, it wont let me edit the cone (theres no edit option) until i switch to a different build or equip my picaxe. It really messes me up because i need to place a cone and then a wall for that specific edit. It happens with other builds too. (I play on PC)

try setting your place build button to your backspace or a button near it and place a controller on top of it so your builds place instantly. It's not super convenient but I think it will fix your issue for the most part. Stretch your fingers before playing, they're probably stiff. Good luck 👍

Edit left two tiles of your floors, then your front left cone tile, then your crosshair should be placed perfectly on your wall to edit the left bottom corner of your wall. Timing, consistency, and edit speed are all factors, and of course ping and frames, but mainly the first 3. Hope this helps!
i think its imposible to do this on 50+ ping and a red x on the ping either i have super high imput delay or i just lag cus now that i have moved my interent speed went from 350mbps to 10mbps so the best ping i can get is 40 and with a red x

The fear doesn’t matter that much as long as you’re below 30 ping and above 60 fps you can still be really quick

It's a rough life on 30+ ping. Strafing is almost a must to stay consistent with higher ping.

I think trying to edit too fast hinders your improvement more than just editing at a speed you are comfortable with, and maybe very slightly faster
