On tip number 10 when you make the 4 tile arch edit you should slip in a cone above the players stair using the wall as a right hand peak as you head over to the other wall so if they see you, they wont expect the cone and youll still get a shot off.
I would honestly just shoot first in that situation since chances are that he will be confused. I am often taking a bit more risk though. The result is that I die more often but get higher kills games when it works out.

I have to pull left trigger to confirm my reset, instead of maybe after releasing my right stick, it'll reset. Are there times when that would disadvantageous? I wasn't sure. Thoughts anyone?

try implementing them against fights with friends or in matchmaking and eventually you will get them down really well and can just play arena and your muscle memory will kick in and do it.
