I'm visiting Iceland soon and I want these two to be my tour guide so bad!! :)
I will be back soon! Here are some things you might not know: 1. Phenomenal nightlife - they love to party 2. Free-spirited, outgoing people with great sense of humor 3. One of the lowest crime rates of any country in the world. You can own guns but it is heavily regulated - think about that 4. Hard-working people with little income inequality - no bailouts during financial crisis rather 200 indictments - think about that 5. Geothermal energy - the cheapest in the world, clean air. 6. If your Icelandic is lacking they generally speak decent English. 7. Unbelievable scenery in every sense of the word
Their English is outstanding except for some older maids, etc., and they are not Icelandic anyway.
I like Iceland's sense of humor.

Possibly one of the best videos ever made.
We ended up in Iceland following a missed flight connection recently. Initially, we were pissed as we just wanted to get to our destination but after we got to the Foss Hotel, Reykjavik, we soon met some locals. Lovely, helpful, beautiful people! When we went exploring the following day down towards the sea and into town we were amazed by the Scandinavian influence and architecture. Did I mention the beautiful people? I so want to return and properly explore Iceland!

very nice place, it has different climate in different region. Anyway, I love all. Simple living, quiet cities i.e. Akureyri, Husavik, Myvate, Vik and so on. Waterfall is wonderful. Once, you should visit as I did.
