    Watching this, yes you lose point when you get to 30, but by 30 you also have achieved some things (higher work years in a particular field). Or more than two degrees too. It kind of balances out to me

    My take is a 2 year program to be in the country for 3 years work permit. The CEC is a pathway to PR and lots of Provinces especially in the maritime area offers pathways to PR to international students once you study there!! Wish you Guys all the best 👍

      @@iberusodiq2891 CEC is an acronym that stands for Canada Experience Class. It is a stream or visa category for immigrants that are qualified for immigration based on their experience living in Canada as either a student or other temporary immigrant status.

      @@ayomideadelagun6778 Yes it is but they're other Provinces that are much better since they offer friendlier immigration programs for international students to transition into permanent residents like New Brunswick and other Provinces in the maritime or Eastern Canada 🇨🇦

      Hello,
      We are exactly in the same category.
      I'm going for a one year business program.
      My plan is to get to Canada and enquire from Immigration lawyer and people who have succeeded with getting PR within one year OR apply for a 1+1 program I.e. Once I am winding down my first program, I will apply for a second one year program. This will give me a 3 years work permit as well.
      So, those are what you can do

      Same here. Am in my early 40 too. I studied Business Administration in my University and I want to do a one year business course/program in Canada because I don't have money for 2 years.
      But the issue now is which school will favor me for PR.
      And a course I can choose.

      @chinasaelizabeth1982 Choose a one year college course in either New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, or Saskachewan. It's very easy, fast, and stressless to get your PR.
      I made the mistake of choosing a college in Ontario, but I am working on amending that in a few months.

      They don't!! Ontario is pretty much populated as it is already!! So basically only schools in the Maritime Provinces have such option pretty much!!.I also think some schools in the west /prairies do too but not too sure 🤔

    Hello, I read that one has to have a one year Canadian work experience in either a full time job or a part time job in equivalent amount of time and that world experience gathered while studying full time does not count

      Yes that is true!! Only your work experience during your PGwP counts towards your application for CEC pathway and it must be in your profession of study to actually count!! Work experience garnered during study doesn't count at all Buddy!!

      @IamDharpo you actually need to get a job experience in a profession listed in the list of priority profession or your course of study to be eligible to apply for your CEC immigration pathway. I came to Canada 🇨🇦 over a decade ago on the FSWP so I know what I am talking about having read the whole immigration program process and applying by myself!!!

      New Brunswick is excellent for international students because you get an automatic pathway to your PR and after 3 years you can relocate if you don't like the location 😉

      Everybody’s case is different. It may be difficult and it may not.
      The risks of taking a 1 year program is far more greater than 2 years.
      If you have money, I’ll say you should play it safe.

      Most likely 1 year, if you’re lucky, you can get 2years
