Great top 10. I always try to remind my students to prep for weather too. Hot days need sunscreen, umbrella, and maybe pajama pants (to throw over your shorts for your session). Wet days need an umbrella, good rain jacket, tarps or storage bins to cover your stuff (especially if you don't have a tow vehicle or trailer).
Great video! A few things I would add: 1) Bring your own air compressor. Even though most tracks have air on site, it's usually in the garages. Which are rented out. 2) Bring your own food and water. Every track day I've been to (excluding NASA), the concession stand was always closed. 3) If you don't have something, just ask! The best part of tracks days and club racing is that everybody is willing to help each other out. If you need something, don't be afraid to simply ask your paddock neighbor. Or anybody, for that matter.
Thank you! Absolutely agree with all of those points. Food and water is sooo important. I’ve actually made it a point to drink AT LEAST one bottle of water between every session. Energy abundant snacks periodically as well. The point about asking your neighbors… so spot on!
Definitely a good list, one thing to note is that some tracks don't like scooters/motor vehicles/transportation that don't have seats. Luckily most tracks allow them though!
Number one thing I needed when I was racing was money for tires. $400 for a set of tires (Superbike) Depending on how much practice we did we could go through 2 sets. Next would be EBC green sprint brake pads.
super solid list!!
Thank you sirrrr 🙌🏼

Yes! Weather-related items for sure! You don’t realize how much it takes a toll on you until you’re driving home lol
