not sure if anyone else said this, but i'm getting "Get Out" vibes from this. the silence of the bidding, the picture of Raymond, it's slightly unsettling. i never used nookazon; i let my villagers leave naturally~
I use the free villagers chat in the nookazon discord because I don't want my loved ones to be voided.

I love how, using Animal Crossing characters, you can create genuine tension. You don't even need words. I need more.
I love how even the “community” knows Mask doesn’t care for his villagers but it also seems like he has a hold on them as well cause they could have just sold to someone else but she gave a look like she HAD to give him Raymond. Yes he’s got the money but you can tell she did NOT want to give him to Mask. I wonder if others have seen how he works and avoid him👀 I’m too invested💀

Coming back to see this video after seeing the clips in the feature length movie. Suzy's reaction after relinquishing Raymond to Mask was left out in the movie. The pained expression and not wanting to address the bag of bells on the floor really feels like Judas regretting his 30 pieces of silver. Goddamn. Bravo. This really is done so well and you deserve more recognition for it.

The amount of care and love that goes into each frame of this video. I like going through animations frame by frame to see the hard work that goes into these and caught a wholesome message by Densle at 0:28. Had no reason to put it in but I loved catching a a little easter egg like that haha. Also there is so much lore in the group chat. The Migos stir-fry reference. A wife leaving a man for a newsletter. Tom Nook deez nuts joke, and the wheres redd nintendo??? I can tell A LOT of time was put into frames like these that most likely no one will notice lol. Something has gone wrong in the happy go lucky world of Animal Crossing.
1:07 I legit thought this was my villager. I’m not even kidding. Same hair, mouth, and eyes. Only differences being the nose (mine has the circle nose) and the eye color (mine are Blue). I was questioning why the fudge my villager was partaking in villager trafficking for a split second there.
with part 9 out, it's occurred to me based on how Tom Nook spoke of Mask in Pt 9 that with the way all the other avatars react when Mask still makes the bet, that Mask isn't just "a villain" in this universe, he is "THE villain" as in he is so well renowned to being horrible, mean, and disrespectful to the game's characters and game world (and perhaps even other online island visitors) that other PLAYERS despise him being there, winning the Raymond auction.
perhaps the heroes of part 10 may not be Isabelle, but the other players themselves? hm-hmm...

it looks like they only used the ingame models which is crazy because it looks almost movie quality with the lighting and textures. Compared to how trash ugly looking the new pokemon games are lmaooooo

@@leogachi- you don’t get money from Pokémon trading. Pokémon trading is just going “I can’t take care of this pet anymore so I need to help it find a better home.”. Villager trafficking is “hey I’m greedy give me money and I’ll give you my first child”.
@@creativecreeper2860 You trade a Pokémon for another Pokémon, it's not rehoming. You also don't get money for AC villagers, you get pixels. The only value or meaning they have is what we assign them on a personal level, otherwise they're useless.
