I've never heard this before! It's fabulous news!!! I ve been hypothyroid with associated weight gain all my life but once I started eating real food I finally started seeing good results in how I look and feel. Thanks so much, your videos are divine. Especially since I'm almost 50 now and I was nervous about menopause around the corner.
I'm amazed at your talent of explaining body processes in such a way that it sounds like new information, and it sinks in. I'm doing your 0123 and it is working great. I am watching two of your channels for encouragement, and am incorporating your suggestions as I go, you make it all fit together as to the Why. Easy. Thank you! Diane
Thank you for explaining this so well!! Many other TH-camrs will have long drawn-out introductions and meaningless info but yours was short and to-the-point with meaningful content. Much appreciated 👍
Someone told me when I was starting my health journey that you should basically shop the perimeter of the store plus certain aisles of the frozen food section. This is where the produce, meat and dairy are usually located. I very rarely go down the processed food aisles except the spice aisle and the one where the oil/vinegar are located. I've lost 200lbs and went from a 60+ waist to a 34
Hi Becky~ I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I have been enjoying your videos! You bring us practical, understandable, relatable information, with such a warm, engaging style. Thank you SO much for being so generous with your time and talents....you have been such a tremendous help and Godsend to me!
Your expression when describing the "fake cheese" was very apt and I share that opinion. :-) There's probably room for a politician to appropriate the meme #FAKECHEESE! I'd also very much support the virtues of frozen vegetables. For me, living a long way away from shops, they are lifesavers. Every two weeks my shopping includes about 8KG of frozen vegetables and I work through them over the next two weeks in my meals. It's so handy to have something healthful that won't "go off" and is (as I understand it) as, or even more, nutrient-rich than produce that has been sitting on supermarket shelves for a while. And, as you say, even the switch to more of these unprocessed foods really helps with weight loss. (Sorry, that turned into quite a long comment :-))
One of the best informative videos on TH-cam I have seen. I have seen lots of videos. I am diabetic ( Type 1) and your info on cab/ sugar on insulin is fantastic! Thank you!
Very interesting, thanks so much for sharing such good information! I was blessed to be brought up with good nutrition but we still were all told lots of lies about nutrition too. So this is great! Every college ought to have a teacher like you 😉 with a good nutrition program.
Love your videos. What do you do if one is a vegetarian? The cost of this is beyond me right now. However, I have written down everything you said and I will be implementing this into my life and my husband's. Thank you! Also, another question, what about fake meats? I eat them.
I like your way of simplifying such scientific information to let them easily understood by anyone .You are a gift for many people ❤🌴👍😘Just if you please keep writing captions to let your followers from the Arabs like me get your lecture fully 🌴💞🥰
One Doctor recommends eating small healthy meals to continually "feed the fire" another says you cannot lose fat if your insulin levels are not low and you cannot get low blood sugar levels if one is always eating (even protein). Who is correct? This is very frustrating. Does it really depend on the person? BTW Dr. Becky is amazing.
Hi Jasey, I certainly understand the frustration! In the past few years, insulin has been identified as a major player in fat loss, so actions that keep insulin low, like less frequent eating, lower carb meals, intermittent fasting are emerging as the current advice. I have a video on how many meals to eat 6 vs.3 if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/JILwvSRhapI/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for all your videos. I learn so much from them. However, I am a 57 years woman and eat a very healthy diet. I hardly ever eat possessed food, I walk everywhere, I do prelate and I am very active. I eat lots of vegetables and good protein. But I am struggling to loose one extra stone I have. What do I do wrong? 🙏🏻
Great information. It seems that nature gets things right and man seems to mess things up. Anyway, outside of nutrition, I think muscle mass can help metabolism or basal metabolic rate. We lose muscle mass as we age. Ugh. Anyway, resistance training and h.i.i.t. are good or just getting out of your chair. Also, intermittent fasting may help efficiency of metabolism, if done properly, with solid nutrition and maintaining a good level of nutritious calories, etc. I know what i need to do, but still not easy, so you definitely need a plan and then execute it, but also have some flexibility and dont be too hard on yourself.
Hi dear Becky... My name is davinder and I'm 39 years old. I just found myself that I have high blood glucose level. It was 110 last year and now it's 145 after breakfast. Can you suggest me some good foods. I'm continuously watching your videos to set a permanent food habit for my upcoming life. I don't want to be a diabetic. I know I'm already entered in critical zone but according to your videos I still have enough chances to reverse my blood glucose level. I'm eating boiled vegetables and some chicken everyday. No bread, no carb no high calorie food. Can you suggest me a plan. I'm Indian American. Living in new Jersey. Thanks a lot.

Dr. G? Does wilting or freezing have adverse effects on the fresh leafy vegetables of loss of their benefit, ie.. fibre ....

Tip: Those large plastic vegetable packages are great for storing shoes. LOL!
How many months should we go eating all the food to restore the lost metabolism due to over fasting?

Question, please? Will a multi-vitamin and fish oil capsules in the morning break my fast? Thank you!
I've never tested my glucose or ketones after consuming these items, but my suspicion would be that they do not break a fast.
I cant open the meal plan without completing info for a paid subscription?
Thanx Dr. Becky, this is just what I needed today!
Whoot woo love you channel
