fast acting lime v. hydrated lime when it comes to storing eggs? I bought/used the wrong one. Eggs are not floating/good. should I dump them anyway?

Yes. Start over. Hydrated lime. Only fresh unwashed, no fractures, but clean eggs will work for water glassing. Best to you

Ofcourse cement because cement have high rate of hydration then lime, thats why it gain strength early and more stronger then lime, there for time of completion of project reduce as compare to that of concrete prepare by using lime.

Shell lime or limestone lime which one is better?

For small scale lime production shell lime is better but for large scale production of lime it is not possible to collect large volume of shell lime, in this situation lime stone is more better and economical.

If you want low maintanence and long life after construction of house then use cement. Cement have high bonding strength then lime, so cement bind other material (sand,aggregate, brick) more strongly. And have low maintanence cost. In other side, lime is quite economical during construction but have high maintanence after construction. So i suggest cement is good for house then lime.

MgCl2 (magnesium chloride), it increases rate of reaction (exothermic reaction) and hence increase the temperature of mixture instantly.

No limestone burn in first stage to remove moisture and gasses, CaCO3 obtained from lime stone which is quary from earth crust in rock form, to obtain CaCO3, lime stone must be burn and then crushed in powder form for getting use-able form.
