That's okay. Research teaches us a lot of skills apart from the research objectives and results. What are other the (transferable) skills you developed during your previous research experience that would be useful in the new field? Reflect on those and market them in this paragraph

Thats your best bet if you don't have a lot of space. For the others, you can make a general statement to reflect your experiences. E.g after talking in detail about the specific research area of interest, you can say: "I had the opportunity to be part of four other research projects that advanced my data analytical and writing skills which would be vital for my development in your PhD program. " This is just an example, revise to to summarize what you gained from the other projects. Best wishes.

This is so insightful and detailed! Thank you so much for this sir. My final year thesis was published by my supervisor who used his spouse that was then concluding her PhD as corresponding author. Is it appropriate to state in my statement of purpose that i played a lead role in the research ?
First, your supervisor is a horrible human. Sorry you had to go through this. It must have been demeaning. Secondly, were you included at all on the paper? If at all, my guess is that you are not the first author either. If you are listed as an author, you should definitely state your role as the lead. If you are questioned (maybe during an interview) on your claim as the lead, you only need to explain your case as you did here.
