The SPF musical salute used for minister or reviewing officer is a Commonwealth general salute.
By way of trivia:The Prime Minister salute is probably a direct reference to the march "Punjaub", which the SPF also seems to like.
Fun fact, as you can see on livestreams of last year's SCDF Day Parade, Commissioner SCDF's Salute is the same as the SAF Service Chiefs
SCDF traditions are direct copies of SAF ones with slight tweaks
I think for SPF, can change the ministerial salute to general salute. It is accorded to the RO of a MP or above, not necessarily minister.
Not sure if protocol changed, but in my day (2014-2015), MPs were saluted with the General Salute as would any RO of rank BG and above.MP's don't rate the minister salute.
Are you referring to the SAF or the SPF salute? For the SAF MPs are saluted with the reviewing office salute.
My earlier response refers to the SAF (I was in 3TPT, for the record), and I believe we reached the same conclusion.
@@jn316rc I agree, I was referring to the original comment.
For clarity, mine is for SPF context
Baris Homat part3
WTH, a lot of the salutes were not shown at all! Are you trolling the viewers? Waste of time!
