I love the way they set this scene up. The voice glitches and visual bugs justfiably make the player doubt that BT is alright, so when he says "I have done the math", you're inclined not to believe him. It doesn't matter anyway, you're probably 100% on board with dying alongside him by now. Then when he throws you, despite the rupturing of the terrain around the fold weapon, you land on solid terrain, with a path to the dropship - so either you're the luckiest pilot in the Militia or BT simulated the whole explosion of the fold weapon in literal seconds and threw you just right, even when he was barely operational. That's why we trusted him.
This was one of the best game ending. BT was A character that we all got to know and live. We wnt with him with so many things. The ending actually made me cry because BT was such a great Titan. He will go down in history. He was the best one. Titanfall 2 was such a great game. And i always Replay just so i can see him again. And he will have a place in my heart. No matter what. Thank you for reading this
when i first played through the ending i wondered why BT kept saying "my analysis indicates a throw is our option here", i knew that he wasnt just saying it because he was glitching because every other thing he said was relevant to the current situation. but then it all made sense, BT was already planning on throwing cooper at the last second when he sacrificed himself, he knew that cooper would try to stop him if he didnt let him come along. so he tried not to tell him until it was too late for cooper to do anything.
With the helmet scene at the end, the dim light represents a 0, while the full glow is a 1. With this is mind, the flashing translates to "Jack?" in binary.

It is genuinely astonishing to me how fucking good the Titanfall 2 campaign was. When they said TiF2 would have a single player campaign, I assumed that it would be kind of a tacked on side-thing to the multiplayer. Not too much effort into it, enough to be passable, but a good introduction to the game mechanics and maybe have some fun characters for multiplayer. But holy fucking shit, they outdid themselves and it's a literal crime that the game was so underrated. The last mission is genuinely one of my favorite missions in all of gaming history, a nostalgia-hued blitz of incredible gameplay and amazing spectacle. It all begins with the Smart Pistol and the data knife, the two most iconic weapons in the franchise, where every enemy is a Grunt. Complete and utter power as make a mad dash to the Fold Weapon complex. You sprint along the walls, murdering everything in your path, clutching BT's data core in your hand. It's just you VS the world; no one else can get there in time. You are The Pilot, the master of movement, wielder of the aimbot, and nothing can stop you. As you run, you come to the Fold Weapon Facility, and you hear the words. The fateful words that you haven't gotten to hear for the entire campaign, the words that define Titanfall as a franchise, that every player has heard thousands of times, yet only now do you truly realize their impact. "Your Titan's prepped for launch, call it when ready." "Standby for Titanfall." This is the only time in the game where you get to call in a Titan from orbit, and god damn was it a fucking genius move to save it for that moment. It has so much impact that it literally brings me to tears thinking about how perfectly executed it was. And then! As the icing on the cake! They give you a fully automatic minigun with aimbot! I will always hold the last mission of Titanfall 2 in my heart because no other game has EVER made me feel as cool as that mission did. It is a masterclass in buildup and payoff, and I think it should be taught in classes.
B.T might be alive. His fragments of his A.I is still in Jack's helmet, but Ethan not a chance. Atleast he's with Ghost, Gaz, Soap, Reznov and other Cool CoD characters
I remember that a glitch forced the warthog to fly over the ship you're supposed to land on and yet the cinematic plays where you land it...... nailed it
Not going to lie, I cried at the ending. Hell, I was upset when I thought that BT died at the beginning of this level. I told BT that I was willing to go with him to the end of the line. I was shocked when he threw me out before he died. I was devastated. Damn good ending and my Game of the Year for that year.
I just finished the game, and I'm drowning in tears. This game is goddamn amazing, the bond we create with BT is...simply unexplainable. ...For a few minutes, a sense of loneliness came over me, knowing that we might never see BT again. It's different to when my favourite character in a show dies or something, it's like losing a close friend, someone I could rely on. Fuck I'm crying even harder as I write this. I'm so glad that I played this game. I'm so glad that I got to meet BT and go on this journey with him. BT-7274, I love you. (...well, I'm just going to go back and play campaign a few more times (God I think I get attached to others wayyyyy too easily, I was yelling BT's name so many times when I was parkouring above the clouds to get to the plate or smth. It's kinda pathetic actually.
You're not the only one who was screaming BT's name my friend...I did as well...and it's not pathetic. It proves that men also cry...and that's totally okay...
So I wear contacts, and sometimes I forget my eyedrops at home. They get really really dry and start to bother my eyes. I've come to watch this multiple times to ensure my eyes stay lubricated throughout the day 🥲

honestly. this scene perfectly explains the loss of war we, the player, bond with BT throughout the game, just like soldiers bond with others in their squads on deployment when he sacrifices his life, we're all clearly emotionally destroyed by that fact, knowing that we had created such bond with him the same goes for soldiers on the battlefield. their bonds are shattered when one of their squadmates goes down and they know they're not coming back up Sarah Briggs hops on the comm channel and reels us back into reality making us focus that "we still have a job to do," just like something the squad leader would say during combat to get you back in focus to last another day

@@disorderrgv he uploaded some of his AI into coopers helmet
Protocol 3 "trust me cooper"

"Your Titan's prepped for launch, call it when ready."
"Standby for Titanfall."
This is the only time in the game where you get to call in a Titan from orbit, and god damn was it a fucking genius move to save it for that moment.
It is a masterclass in buildup and payoff, and I think it should be taught in classes.
end of 2023 and i still end the feels 7y later. hats off BT, you were the best titan one could ever ask for.

honestly. this scene perfectly explains the loss of war
we, the player, bond with BT throughout the game, just like soldiers bond with others in their squads on deployment
when he sacrifices his life, we're all clearly emotionally destroyed by that fact, knowing that we had created such bond with him
the same goes for soldiers on the battlefield. their bonds are shattered when one of their squadmates goes down and they know they're not coming back up
Sarah Briggs hops on the comm channel and reels us back into reality making us focus that "we still have a job to do," just like something the squad leader would say during combat to get you back in focus to last another day
