That grip seems like it would come in handy!

It does - it stinks having to change out batteries when you are on the go.

Cliff, thanks for this info. It's frustrating having to be constantly charging and changing the three batteries. I never even considered doing an overnight time lapse simply because of battery limitations.

Happy to do my small part to relieve the frustration of another GoPro owner. 😀 Thank you for signing up!

Another great review…I agree with you entirely. I’ve used GoPro 5, 7 and now 10 exclusively and I’m self-proclaimed GoPro “fanboy” but their battery life is a pain but I understand given how small they need to keep their cameras…trade-off for form-factor. You’ve got me thinking this Volta would be a game-changer. I’ll need to consider. Thank you…also thank you for serving us and our America with your military service! 🇺🇸💪

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your comments. I like the Volta, but as with everything there are trade offs. In order to use it you have to use the media mod, which if find if I am not recording for more than a few minutes in a warm environment. My GoPro 10 likes to overheat and I think the media mod makes it more prone to overheating. Like you, I am a big fan and I guess we can't have everything... Cheers!
